2 out of 5 eggsGood Card, but experienced weird issues after a while

Pros: Runs most games today at decent settings, Good Price

Cons: The one I got worked fine for a few months then one day I turned on my pc and started playing games and my monitor would keep turning off and my pc would lock up, I tried everything to get it to work includeing lowering the screen resolution, reinstalling/uninstalling/updateing the software, lowering the gfx quality but nothing I tried got it to work properly agian so I had to RMA it to newegg. I poped in my old Radeon 9500 Pro until I got the card back from Newegg and it worked fine without any issues like this card had.

Other Thoughts: Newegg proved yet agian why its the best place to shop, months after my purchase they accepted my RMA and quickly replaced my faulty video card, if I had gotten the card at any other retailer I would probably be out of luck and shopping for a new video card

3 out of 5 eggsUpdating the Bye Bye review

Pros: worked fine when i put it in... then when actually putting in a "good" game i got problems.

Cons: hmmm... well...

Other Thoughts: Just to update... the noise listed on my earlier review was NOT coming from the fan on the card. I have since RMA'd it for another... thinking maybe the heat on the way here got to it (5 straight days of 95+ degree weather might cause a problem). Looks like I'm stuck with the ol' trusty FX5500 for another week or so...

4 out of 5 eggsBye bye AGP lol

Pros: Decent core, DDR3 mem. Bundled software a plus. Came with Prince of Persia Warrior within and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Easy setup-nothing special needed.

Cons: Fan is noisy when under a load. still a bit choppy playing GW factions... This was once a high-end card. Not really impressed with the overclocking software... do i really need another link to my windows media player?

Other Thoughts: Do not try to use this card without the drivers that are on the CD that came with it! If you plug it in and just download the new forceware you will have PROBLEMS. Bought this to hook up to my HDTV. Well... lets just say that there's 2 types of widescreen HDTV's. One that is an actual widescreen and another that is just a "stretcher" that streches a 4:3 to widescreen. I apparently have the latter. No matter what I did I could not get any resolution of HDTV to fit on my TV... corners were cut off, etc. More of a problem with the TV. ended up using s-video since i couldn't live in 720x480 but all in all it was a great improvement over my aging FX5500 (the eVGA one that everyone has owned at some point lol)

5 out of 5 eggsGood, but aging card

Pros: Great card when I bought it more than a year, and a half ago. Never had any issues with it what so ever. This card can pretty much handle anything thrown at it, except for Oblivion, which it does play on low-medium settings @ 1440x900 on My Viewsonic 19" widescreen LCD. In Oblivion I see around 30 + FPS most of the time, with draw distance set very low, all shadows off, and no combat going on. With multiple Hostiles on screen, FPS dips to low to mid teens. In dungeons, the FPS is higher than 30FPS.

Cons: Cant really think of any, this card has been a champ.

Other Thoughts: Well, this card has been very good in my opinion, however, I think if someone needed to buy a card for an AGP system right now, they would be better off spending an additional 10-20 dollars, and buying a 6800XT with 256MB of ram. The 256bit memory controller, and the extra vertex shader is worth it alone, nnot to mention the possibility of unlocking the 6800XT, and overlockability.

If you're interrested in OC'n your video card, pass this one up.

2 out of 5 eggsBuggy, unpredictable card

Pros: When it worked, it worked beautifully! Leadtek cards have usually done well for me (except for this one).

Cons: Have had unpredictable performance issues since day 1. Garbled and noisy video have frequently make the system unusable, even with updated drivers, etc.

Other Thoughts: I've had this card for just over a year, and it's had problems since day 1. It would randomly produce garbled images and artifacts. Wiggling the card alters the errors, narrowing the issue to the card or AGP slot. I have since replaced this with an e*VGA card which works perfectly, confirming the issue's with this card itself. She's going back to Leadtek.

5 out of 5 eggsWho needs XBOX360

Pros: This Card brought new life to my 3 year old computer. I had an ATI 9600 and this card smokes that one. Ive been able to play games at med high to high quality averaging around the 50-60 fps. Games like FEAR, Half Life 2, Sin Episodes, Quake 4, Doom 3 all run great. Can run Far Cry at Very high settings and i never knew that the game looked so good. Also get around 68 FPS with CS Source. Around 7200 3dmarks in 03. Plays Prey Well.
Will always buy from New Egg

Cons: Doesnt play oblivion as nice as i wish, but thats okay cause i am never gonna actually play the game i just used it to compare my PC to a 360. It plays oblivion with the high draw distances with low textures and effects, or you can turn up textures and effects and have a very close draw distance, but its too big of a game n e ways.

Other Thoughts: Games seem to run better with 16x anistropic filtering enabled, get more fps.

my system
Soyo Kt400 Dragon Lite mobo
AMD Athlon xp 2400
512 mb geil ddr 3200
512 mb corsair value select ddr 3200
Aopen cobra 4 channel sound (cmi chip)
Winfast A6600GT 128 mb
WD 80 gb hd

Every part, came from new egg

Pros: Can play even the latest games at good fps.

Cons: I'm having video playback problems but I'm pretty sure its not the card.

Other Thoughts: Came with Prince of Persia 2 and Splinter Cell 2

5 out of 5 eggsbrilliant card

Pros: excellent card for the money. i had a friend who bought one with same specs for over a $xxx more

Cons: there have been times that when entering BF2 it crashes, but i think thats more of a game thing rather than the card

Other Thoughts: great card for the money

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: came at 500/900 stock, detected optimal frequencies using the official nvidia whql 84.21 drivers at 542/1.04. can go higher, but will probably need a 3rd party cooler. my card came in a "20th anniversary edition" box bundled with splinter cell chaos theory and prince of persia warrior within. also came with an HDTV cable, dvi-vga adapter, a male to female splitter, and a multimedia cd. also, the card is on a black PCB and the fan is smaller yet much more efficient. cheap price, and newegg delivered in 3 days! can play CoD2 on extra settings at 1280x1024 using directx7, halo, mgs2 substance, and nfsu2 all on 1280x1024 highest settings.

Cons: none yet!!!!

Other Thoughts: when you turn on your computer after plugging in this card, a leadtek video bios will show up before your main bios does. i hope no one gets confused/surprised by this. all it does is check the video card ram and if its working properly.
