5 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Card

Pros: This card is pretty insane. I've only had it for a couple of days now, but it is very sexy! Ran great after installing the drivers.

Even comes with a easy program to overclock!

Has built in LED lights if you like that sorta thing in your computer.

Cons: This card is rather large compared to the Radeon 9800 I had before it. Not really a con, unless you got a Micro Case.

Other Thoughts: Not sure how it stacks up against all the newer PCI-Express cards, but its very fast and extremely good graphic card. Its able to run Call of Duty 2, Sims 2, and Battlefield 2 on the highest settings.

5 out of 5 eggsBottlenecktard City

Pros: 256mb RAM at 256-bit and DDR-3

Cons: ATI+Linux can be tricky

Other Thoughts: Okay, captain bottleneck is parroting words he doesn't understand again. Computers don't work like that. There is no bottleneck for a graphics card. No graphics card exists that can saturate either the AGP or the PCIe buses, whatever. Best you can do is illicit better SYSTEM performance by utilizing faster system RAM and processor which translates to better graphics performance since the system also utilizes these components for graphics processing. It's an ALSO, not a "you gotta have X component". As for "Bottlenecking your video card", total farce, and disinformation. Unless every time a new CPU comes out, you want to call that bottlenecking and spend another thousand dollars to fix something that doesnt exist. If you want good graphics performance, try running your system stable. That's the best thing you can do, when you learn the very basic methods of doing this. Start with name-brand power supply instead of Mad Uncle Lucky's 600W rebadged 150W non-existent brand.

Comments: Just to let you all know out there, for good performance and less money, you can get a Geforce 6800LE, which has the chance of unlocking 12 pipelines, and then 16, which would outperform this card easily, with 12 it is very close or the same, so save your self the $100 or more difference, and buy a 6800LE. You may not take my advice, but it also has a 256 bit interface, but only 128mb vram, and only DDR. But for over $100 difference thats the difference.

Oh, and p.s if your lucky and get to unlock 16 pipelines, and overclock a little you can acheive 6800 GT speeds!
But this is still a good video card if you still want to buy it
:)

5 out of 5 eggsToo new for Newegg

Comments: I am seriously considering purchasing this card only i am not 100% sure of specs. The mfr's site has a few discrepancies with Newegg's info such as the amount of pixel pipelines (Newegg 16)(Abit 12) and also the presence of vivo (Newegg yes) (Abit no). I love Newegg for service and selection and this will not affect my buying this card. Regardless this is the last upgrade for my current pc left to do (still running a Gforce4 MX 420!!).

5 out of 5 eggsMisinformed?

Comments: Upon further investigation of this card at the manufacturer's website i found that it has only 12 pixel pipelines and no vivo.
