5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: I needed a basic pci-x video card.
This card is much more than I expected and no longer plan on upgrading down the road.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I don't play games, so I cannot comment on how it handles.
Works great on Linux (CentOS & FedoraCore).
Well worth the green and would buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Silent due to the passive cooling and no fan to burn out. Works great. Plays Guild Wars and LOTRO with most settings maxed smoothly.

Cons: none so far.

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: I have this card on an nVidia mother board and it performs great. With 3 gigs of ram I can play Crysis on it with the settings on medium.

Cons: You cant add ram directly to a video card and thats too bad.

Other Thoughts: I am going to buy a second one of these and run two at once to see if I can boost things up even further.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what is asked of it.

Pros: Does what I want it for: running dual LCD's. Silent!

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I would not clean it with a garden hose.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Performance is fine, considering what this card is -- low-end. Totally silent, due to the passive cooling. On my machine, with good airflow the card barely got warm.

Cons: You can't turn off TurboCache, which means the card steals a portion of your main memory, even if you don't want it to. The D-sub connection is *not* attached directly to the board, but runs through a short ribbon cable. That degrades the video quality to a high enough degree that it's borderline unusable.

Other Thoughts: I returned this card due to the image quality problems on the D-sub connection.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW

Pros: I purchased this card for a system I built to replace an old system I have. That system played WOW quite well. With this card the improvement wi very nice. It replaces a ge force ti4400. Great cooling design, no fan, one less source of grinding.

Cons: The card depends on case air circulation to cool. Not good for small or crowded cases. I have cross ventilation and 120mm fan and it barely warms up.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for what I thought would be a nice but cheap system. It has surpassed my expectations. DOA's happen, it is a fact of life.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck.

Pros: Although fanless it stays fairly cool if you have good airflow in your case, does not feel cheaply built, good performance.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I run this card on two Ubuntu Linux machines and would have no idea about how well it would work on Windows. I've bought two of these so far and might just have to buy another one! I wish that all of my machines had PCI Express slots.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent card for the dough

Pros: Bought 2 of these for SLI config, and got nearly 1 GB (760
MB) of video power out of it. Ran Doom 3, the free Strangle Hold game, and C&C Tiberian Wars excellently. Have 64-bit support! YES! And have over clocking ability.

Cons: Can generate heat in a tiny case. Have cooling options, like adding a fan or ehaust on the PCIs or even a fan blowing right at them.

Other Thoughts: Have the AMD 6400+ chip and 4 GB of 800DDr2 ram. SLI-ing these babyies really shows it's potential. Got a little hot. Just put an exhaust fan in the PCI express x1 slot. Problem solved. Runs problem free with HD programs and XP x64.

5 out of 5 eggsCrysis

Pros: Works great with Crysis. I play BF2142 also with good results. I cant run on top settings, but I don't need that level of reality in gaming. I just want it to run smooth so I can enjoy.

Cons: I wish it would rub my feet. Every time I go near it, the fan grinds out on my toes. Seriously, it's as good as it gets for the money. If you cant get the good games working on this card, you don't have something set up right.

Other Thoughts: On Crysis I am limited to low settings on every thing but detail(medium) and one other that is medium.
