not what advertised
- Pros: card works like advertised
- Cons: video card did not come with dawn of war like advertised. In the pictures for the card, it shows getting a dawn of war disk and the driver disk, the only thing it came with was the driver disk
- Other Thoughts: if your going to tell people that you will get a game with purchase, you should send the game with it, the card works fine, but the main reason for getting this card was for the game
Decent enough,could be cheaper!
- Pros: Great graphics.if the 8500 ultra could be ran as 4 SLI cards it would closely match the power that of a good 8800 series card .But for playing ome of the best games( ex:bioshock,halo 1&2 ,oblivion, doom3,not really that much on crisis though) it is a more or less good card.DROP IT TO $50 AND THEN TALK!!!!
- Cons: Fan is a little bit dinky though.the card gets VERY HOT.i saw the reviews and thought they just had insufficient cooling in their system.I have8 FANS!!!!I run sli with these 2-8500 ultra's .as i said great graphics but because they get very hot i probably will be in the market for SLI 8800 GT's instead
Little hot but great upgrade
- Pros: I had a xfx 7600 Gt 256 mb sli card but this card blows it out of the water, and with the price u can't beat.Got 2 of em just in case and sli'ed em. Bigggg Booooost in graphics. Easy to install software gets you up and running in minutes.
- Cons: They get hot! Watch they're temps and recommend u get good fans. I rigged a fan to the heatsinks of the gpu's (don't worry just put in a couple of screws.won't hurt anything)and with the fan blowing the heat out of the case.
- Other Thoughts: Great deal at $180.00. Definitely recommend sli.Definitely get at least 2gigs min. but 4 gigs a must! Card does fine just by itself and runs high def. media great! Newegg rocks \m/>.<\m/ !!!!!
