5 out of 5 eggsNice and very Quiet

Pros: Nice, quiet, easy to install, what else to be said?

Cons: Heat is an issue, but proper and sufficient airflow seems to keep my case(SONATA II) temp down to 25 C for the time being.

Other Thoughts: Newegg pulls through on quick order-processing and I had my order cross-country in three business days as promised. WTG Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Bought this to replace a 256MB Radeon 9600Pro. Excellent upgrade for my games. Able to put games at either high or highest graphics settings (processor and RAM slows me down). Games used on: BF2, Call of Duty2, Doom3, FEAR, Far Cry, plus older games. Installed latest ATI drivers. Haven't had any problems.

Cons: Card is long and has to be removed when I add RAM on my Asus P4P800Deluxe board.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good

Pros: First card I recieved had a broken capacitor. Got a new one and everything was fine. The card is great and has given me no problems.

Cons: I got it because I wanted the fastest silent card available, and its this one. However, if you're not looking for a silent card, there are better choices. You can get a 7800GT for 50 bucks more, which is considerably faster than this one....but you'll have a jet engine noise coming from your PC.

Other Thoughts: If you want a silent PC, this is THE card to get. If you dont care about noise, and already have louder fans in your PC, get something else for better performance/value.

1 out of 5 eggs Capacitor fell off

Pros: seems like a good deal

Cons: I also had a capacitor broken off when I opened the box. What is it about this card that made it so prone to this defect? A bad assembly line setup maybe?

1 out of 5 eggsNothing But Trouble

Comments: I put my newwest gaming rig together around this video card, along with an MSI K8N Neo4 F, 2 Gigs of Corsair Value Select Memory and an Athlon 64 3000+. I have had NOTHING but problems from the start with this graphics card. To begin with, it locks up constantly, I have tried several different driver versions. I have 4 fans in my case, one blowing directly across the board and it still locks up after very short gaming periods. Sometimes, the ATI tools will catch the lockup and reset the card, other times, it just locks the whole computer up. I am going to try and get Gigbyte to swap this thing out for something that is actively cooled but i'm not holding my breath. I have searched high and low for other potential solutions and found nothing. I would not buy this product again or recommend it, stay away, you've been warened.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great, Need Air flow though

Comments: I got this video card about 2 months ago now and i am very please, it has run any game i throw at it on full quality, the only thing you should know is that it needs SOME air flow over it so it doesnt get soo hot that it affects your board. a single in and out fan will do. Highly suggested for those making quiet pc's. And newegg roxxors!

5 out of 5 eggsAnother Gig-a-damage

Comments: I own 3 other Gigabyte VGA Cards with the heatpipe design. I ordered one of these, also from another vendor when NEWEGG was out of them. My application is a quiet PC, HTPC. Therefore, this is perfect! I received it with their free two day shipping, opened the box, all went well, then opened the anti-static bag with the card, took out the vga card and turned back upside down and out fell a capacitor! Ratz! RMA'd it! Will order another, this time from NEWEGG. Hope my luck is better 'cause I'm buying 2 of them. A PCI Express model and AGP Model. Tune in later...same BAT TIME, same BAT CHANNEL.

4 out of 5 eggsArrived Damaged

Comments: I had ordered this from another vendor when it was out of stock at NewEgg... of course all my parts arrived from NewEgg just fine - the card arrived with a capacitor broken off, just like someone else said... I wonder if it is a production or packing problem. Hope to get the new card back and finally put the new rig to work!

1 out of 5 eggsCard arrived damanged

Comments: When I took the card out of the box one of the capacitors was completey detached from the videocard.

I have always been 100% sadisfied with Newegg, hopefully they will resolve this quickly and keep up to their outstanding reputation. Everyone makes mistakes I guess.
