5 out of 5 eggsgreat, but what happened to passive?

Comments: i bought the passive version of this and it does the job quite well. built what accidentally ended up being the quietest computer (gigabyte cpu fan, x-qpack, athlon xp 2400 mobile). for what it can do, it's a decent card. i can play 1080i MPEG2 smoothly with the nVidia dvd decoder as long as the audio is 2.0 channels on an Athlon XP mobile running at 800mhz. and Milkdrop runs smoothly (enough) at 1280x1024.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card for the Money

Comments: Upgraded to this from a FX5200. Great card for the price. If you are looking for a budget card and quality graphics (not the best obviously but better than what you had) this is the card to go with. I can easily play Quake 4 with medium quality at 1024x768. Newegg is the only way to go!

5 out of 5 eggs*update*

Comments: Have had the card in for about a week, thought id share some oddities, advertised clock settings are 350/500, mine's default is 300/550 (very very strange) OC'd to 460/650 running extremely stable, Aquamark 3d scored 34600, not bad for an older Athlon XP 2800+ barton with 266mhz FSB

4 out of 5 eggsNot so sure.

Comments: Good overall card, only 2 pixel pipelines, but it has 128bit architecture. Best card in it's class by far. If you have anything besides a hard drive and cd-rom make sure you have at least a 350W power supply!!! Otherwise the card will slow your pc down in applications.

5 out of 5 eggsMSI NX6200 Fantastic

Comments: I don't really know what you are going to want to hear. I went from a GeForce FX card and this card is an amazing improvement. It's fast and runs HL2 and WoW with a great speed. The install was flawless and I used the most updated Nvidia drivers with no problem. I have the card installed in an A7N8X Deluxe board.

5 out of 5 eggsreplacing an older video card

Comments: I replaced my 5600 card with the 6200. The 6200 is well worth the money. If you are a gamer but are on a budget and have an older system then this card is all you really need. I bench marked 5600 and 6200. The 5600 on aquamark3 was total 17,655 and on the 6200 were 24,833. 3d mark went from 2318 to 3625. Granted you'll get bigger scores using the higher end cards but these numbers on an older amdxp 2000+ machine is fairly good. Not all 6200 cards are the same this one has 128-bit memory access where as the cheaper cards only has 64-bit memory access which will slow down the performance. So for $119.00 you get a modern GPU with 128-bit memory access with 256mb of memory on board the card.
Oh and all my older games like Medal of Honor, call of duty etc, can go on high settings no problem, also on newer games like battlefeild2 went from low settings to the high settings no problems. Haven’t tried doom3 yet but shouldn’t be a problem from what I have seen so far.
Msi nx6200-td256 is modern 64bit nvidia GPU using 128-bit memory access with 256mb of memory onboard that gives you stunning graphics, good fps, that enable you to play the games you have currently and the games that are being sold now.
The card also has TV out which does support HDTV.
