Performance amazing, others?... eh
- Pros: Well I'd first like to say, this card's performance is truly amazing for its price. It is able to maintain a 100FPS average in CS:S on 800x600 with all settings set to max.
- Cons: The only con about this, is it's LOUD fan. It's really irritating and its loud. I use ventrilo when playing games, and my friends can even hear the fan of the video card. It's louder then your whole computer. Only downfall, everything else is perfect.
- Other Thoughts: Only way to keep this thing from beeing so loud is have some other cooler to support the stock fan. Overall, the cards is amazing for its price, but annoying also. Recommended to those have headsets that have sound cancel, lol
So far so good
- Pros: So far this card has been great.
- Cons: none so far
- Other Thoughts: intel core2 duo, bfg 681i mobo, raptor hard drive...this card fit in nicely for the mid-range games my wife plays.
Good until it broke
- Pros: The video card worked well, performed how I expected.
- Cons: The video card broke after a year and two months of use. It started with crashes in games, then it spread to artifacting all the time, even before the OS loaded.
- Other Thoughts: I'm was very lucky to be eligible for the lifetime warranty without registering the product after 30 days (I bought the card at just the right time and I nicely slotted into a "gap" in their warranty policy).
