3 out of 5 eggslasted about 7 years; blown caps

Pros: cheap card at the time
tv out

Cons: blown caps after 7 years

Other Thoughts: I understand this is their budget model but come on. At the very least, they could use better capacitors.

1 out of 5 eggsPure garbage

Pros: Decent priced card to begin with. Performance was good.

Cons: Fan is REALLY cheap. I had 3 of these cards go bad after 13 months of ownership. What happened to video card manufacturers having faith in their product and providing 3 or 5 year warranties. At least charge a few dollars more and put a decent fan on these things.

3 out of 5 eggsCard works, fan doesn't.

Pros: I bought this card because my on-board video was very, very slow. It has great video quality and super fast response.

Cons: I am disgusted at how fast the fan burned out. How is the fan supposed to keep the processor cool if it is dead?

Other Thoughts: If you have lots of cooling in your case, go ahead and get this card. If not, don't even waste your time and money.

4 out of 5 eggsWhat's not to like?

Pros: Good card if you don't need DVI but have a decent sized LCD or want to play some games at passable settings. eVga seems to be a great manufacturer.

Cons: Maybe it should be a little cheaper? I did pay more than the current 5499 though.

Other Thoughts: Good value, Newegg rocks!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Once I installed the drivers, I've had no problems with the system. I can play Supreme Commander with no problems, without the need of a second card.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: Depending upon what I am doing, the OS will adjust the RAM to the video memory for support.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card for the $$$

Pros: If you need a good video card for Office, or Medium gaming this is the perfect idea. Low power use, not a lot of heat output and it plays COD4 on Low to Medium settings fairly well, but Crysis is pushing it too hard for decent gaming. Office applications are smooth, Photoshop rendering is handled quite well and other more intensive applications are running fine. Drivers on the disk are dated, but that is nothing that unusual.

Cons: None - Make sure you take adequate time to install this equipment the correct way. Completely power drain and unplug the power supply, bond yourself to the chassis to prevent ESD before you start upgrading or installing this or any other part into your computer.

Other Thoughts: All around good card to have for the money. If you are looking for a gaming card that will play the hottest titles on the market at high resolutions - get the top most card you can afford, as this 7300gt is not for you.

3 out of 5 eggsConfiguration stinks!

Pros: Can run SLI, has DVI, VGA & HD!
Easy to install
Don't hog up 2 slots each!
has tiny fan attached to it
Running SLI improved video performance even only @ 256mb!

Cons: Haven't had much luck using 1 DVI to my 50" Plasma as an extended monitor while using my 19" LCD, only lets me use one or the other??? Irritating! Downloaded software update but it didn't help. Only 256mb, If I would have spent a little more $$ I could have had some thing better, there is a reason these are not so expensive obviously. The config is rediculous!

Other Thoughts: All in all they're not that bad but dang it the config rubbed me the wrong way! Running Wolfdale core 2 duo 3.0 Ghz & EVGA's 780i SLI board. Mem. stinks right now but I'll upgrade that as it can only handle 533mhz, were as both Wolfdale and MoBo handle 1333mhz... System is running CHERRY though! Big upgrade from P4 3.0 HyperThread. I can actually multi-task!

Cons: -None.

Other Thoughts: -None.

5 out of 5 eggsinstall was painless

Pros: For price vs what your getting out of the card....great....As always with EVGA install was painless.

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: I might have a little bit of a bias decision being that I only run with EVGA

4 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby

Pros: Nice card for the price, can play most of the new games and the older DX9 games in usually high settings. Good size, did not require a pci power connector. Can play crysis (though on low settings but can at least experience it), cod4, half-life 2 LC, far cry, NFS:Pro street, UT3, UT2004 runs even better than my old radeon 9200 (though that still got high FPS), lost planet. All the newer ones, at least they were somewhat playable, not super high settings but enough. I knew so when i bought the card, i expected it. Dual monitor support is nice.

Cons: The biggest con like mentioned already, is that the fan is super loud, basically on full speed (cannot even lower it in riva tuner). And i would not be surprised if it goes out soon, ever since reading about that and experiencing it myself, i plan on buying a good after market vga cooler (like the zalman fans). Just gets annoying sometimes, sounds like i have a cd/dvd popped in and its loading software.

Other Thoughts: As long i can run dual monitors and experience all the newer and old games, im good (My system Pentium D 2.8ghz, 2gb 667mhz dual channel ram). But i will soon upgrade to at least a 9600GT or one of the other newer cards when i get the extra cash. I just needed something that will get the job done for the time being.
