4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Price. CineFX 3.0 Engine. not the 2.0 on ATI's comparable cards. eaily overclocks. same board and cooler as 6800 GT.

Cons: card is huge, almost doesn't fit in case. now the 6800 GS is out with 256 DDR3. I got artifacts in some games when unlocking the vertex and pipes.

Other Thoughts: i bought this card a while back my old card TI 4200 was really showing its age. bought this to last for 1-2 years until i get a new pc, i didn't want to spend too much on an AGP card.
It works great for what it cost, easily overclocked it to 375 and 750 and the temp only went up a couple degrees.
I would recomend spending the extra $ for the 6800 GS with 256MB of DDR3

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: This card is very fast indeed, i expected alot from it and it gave most of it to me. It plays all the games like FEAR. Newegg and EVGA are great.

Cons: The one thing i don't like is the 128mb ddr1 ram.

Other Thoughts: I am doing the evga stepup program to upgrade to the GS with 256mb ddr3, which is what i initially wanted. :)

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Replaced a "softmodded 9500". Fifty% improvement in DX9, Ten 10% greater in DX8. In the 15's in Specview. Nice sharp picture, works well with Solidworks.

Cons: GPU is hardware locked. Driver disc arrived damaged and unusable, download is available from EVGA website.

Other Thoughts: The cooling is audible, not a high frequency fan whine, but a soft whoosing

3 out of 5 eggsFan too noisy.

Pros: worked as expected.

Cons: i wanted to put this in a media PC in my living room, but the fan on the card was more noisy than the computer case fan so i returned the card for one that was less noisy.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Very nice card for the price.

Cons: Not much other than it wouldn't unlock which isn't the cards fault because it wasn't made to do it :)

Other Thoughts: The user below me said it stutters in BF2. Mine did too at the highest textures with 1GB ram. I added a 256MB stick and it helped take the the stutter out. It still stutters on the highest settings because 1.2gigs of ram isnt enough. You need atleast 2 to run everythign on high which this card is capable of.

1 out of 5 eggsHeat Problems

Pros: OK Price

Cons: Too many to name

Other Thoughts: Bought card with high expectations of faster BF2. Have been disappointed since arrival of card. Card has run hot with stock cooler. Purchased Zalman VGA Cooler from New Egg. Well this still did not solve the issues. Runs BF2, COD2, VERY jerky (even at low settings). Went back to Old GeForce 6600 from different vendor (purchased from New Egg). Run both games at med settings fine. I would be cautious with eVGA cards. Any other hints on what to try?

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad for a budget machine.

Pros: This card has never given me any problems. The graphics this card munches look great on my brand new VX922 LCD.

Newegg got it to me fast.

Cons: I couldn't unlock the full 16 pixel pipes without experiencing a buttload of artifacts in Half-Life 2. Heatsink fan is on the loud side.

Other Thoughts: I wish I would've went PCI-E. :~(

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great performance and single slot design. Pretty quiet

Cons: The first one I ordered was DOA, and was a pain to send back. But worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsscreams for the price payed

Comments: i am absolutely amazed with this card. i bought it to replace my ?? year old MX 440, and it screams for only xxx, and the rebate brought it down to xxx. runs FEAR flawlessly with AA at 4 and a few things on high, and HL2 can run on all highs. even with an obsolete machine such as

AXP 2500+ barton
shuttle AN35n ultra
512 MB DDR333 kingston ram
this card
maxtor 80gb

that, i can play games that would have caused my MX440 to explode. if your on a tight budget and still using agp, this is the card for you.
