Pros: worked great when installed it and for about 5 months.. then it stopped working. great card when it works....

Cons: 2nd rma. and almost 3 months and calls to evga.. still nothing.. i got the package deal. to all buying evga is a major risk. im at the end and have no other point to get this to work right.. in short im taking the cash lost. and get a diffrent card

Other Thoughts: food for thought i have a xxx dallor paper weight

Pros: great card. buyin another for sli

Cons: none. if you play a game and the game shuts down on you, its not the card. its your processor. dont overclock it so much because...idk why but if that happens to you turn down on the overclockin

Other Thoughts: answer to the one question.....

dear hokeyplyr48, you can check the temperature of you card with the software provided, all you do is click the tray icon and open the controll pannel, click 3d settings, then click monitor temperature levels

Great card

Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: I have two of these in two computers and they are very stable and run Farcry,COD2,NFS Most Wanted, BF2 etc. on very high settings with great results. I have bumped up the speed to 485/1150 with no problems.I have Zalman VF700 fans on them and they stay pretty cool and very quiet.

Cons: None....although I did have one go buggy in 9 months on my sons' computer but his motherboard went out at the same time.( I'm thinking that might have contributed to the v. card failure) EVGA was very fast at replacing the bad card in just a few days.I am vey happy with the service.

Other Thoughts: I'm sure that there are other cards out there that will have a performance edge on this for the same price but I am still happy with mine and will continue to buy EVGA.
