Decent
- Pros: Card is decent, even at stock it ran almost every game I have flawlessly (Oblivion excluded.) Managed to unlock it from 8 pixel pipes to 12, and from 4 vertex pipes to 6 vertex pipes, the third quad causes artifacts so I had to set mine to quads 1-2-4 unlocked and 3 locked.
- Cons: Card was set running at 315 / 734 clockspeeds rather then 325 / 700 as is listed as default. It also only came with 8 pipes where it says it comes with 12. UPS Also let it sit at a distribution center an hour away from me for 28 hours before shipping it to me.
- Other Thoughts: I think its worth the money, but there may be better buys out there.
Sweet
- Pros: Great price, stable and I can play most older games with all settings on high and I still get good frame rates even with a 4X AGP system and no OC or pixel/vertex pipeline unlocking. What could it do at 8x and OCed and all pipes open?????? WOW.Good enough till I get my new AM2 or conroe system...
- Cons: Runs at 57c to 64c seems a little warm. Still waiting for EVGA rebate.
- Other Thoughts: This will do everything a person needs at a great price, And with NEW EGG customer service and FAST delivery time, They have my loyalty.. Good Job Newegg
good upgrade
- Pros: this is a great card, i upgraded from a realy bad mx420 to this and its works great for the price, plays F.E.A.R. doom3 and CS:S all realy nice
- Cons: had to buy 0ver 300 watt psu
