5 out of 5 eggsBest card for an AGP 4x/8x mobo

Pros: Fast performance. My old ATI 9800PRO performed at 6-50 FPS for 1280x1024 res on most current games (FarCry, HL2, Company of Heroes). I'm getting 40-120 FPS. Over 2X - 2.5X FPS increase.

Cons: Almost 2" longer than my old 9800PRO card, can be a problem if it is rubbing against the RAM slots.

Other Thoughts: Installed the card on my Abit AV8 mobo, Athlon 64 3200+, 1GB RAM. Didn't bother with the drivers in the CD and downloaded the video drivers from eVGA.com.

5 out of 5 eggsBest AGP Card Availible

Pros: This is the best and fastest AGP card availible for AGP bus systems. I've had it running for about 4 months now and I can play every game I have on high settings with no problems. Most importantly, it's newegg that I'm doing business with here so of course the process and service was exceptionally fast, easy and accurate.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The card is on the long side. If you have a small case, you may need to reroute or remove a few things to get it in there. It fit perfectly into my Dimension 8200, but I have know others who've had problems. I also removed the PCI card directly below the Graphics card or else the hot air would have nowhere to go. now there's an empty slot in the rear of my computer that acts as a vent for the card. I've had no overheating problems.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I love it. Runs Oblivion on Ultra High Settings even with my Athlon XP 3200. It's amazing considering I barely got medium with the 6600 GT I had before.

Cons: Being AGP it won't help me when it's time to build a new machine.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Performance

Pros: Excellent card for AGP. Didn't even need the Y-connector (which came with the card). Runs Oblivion at "Ultra High Settings".

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I didn't even bother with the drivers that came with the card. I just went to evga's site and downloaded the latest drivers from the start.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth every cent!

Pros: Coming from a Geforce 5900xt, this card destroys all. Oblivion and FEAR now run great on my rig. I am totally happy with the performance and I haven't had one problem with this beast. As said by others, this card has totally breathed new life into my system. I did have to buy a new power supply to run this card but I got a great deal from Newegg on a 550 watt ps- a small price to pay for greatness!!!

Cons: Absolutely none!

Other Thoughts: If you are thinking about getting this card, just go ahead and get it. You won't be sorry!

5 out of 5 eggsEXCELENT AGP CARD

Pros: This card is great. I recieved this card about two days ago and it performs well for an agp card. overclocked it to 461 MHz core clock and 1.36 Ghz memory clock frequency. At a peak of a game the tempreture is about 58 to 65 degrees 60 in idle. that is pretty good.

Cons: Very laggy in GRAW, maybe because I need to get a new processor. I runnning on a 2.72GHz celeron.

Other Thoughts: every thing else runs well. on ultra hihg quality. bf2 and quake 4 and call of duty 2

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: Best vid card I have bought in a while, works flawlessly, overclocks incredbily, over 6500 in 3dmark 05, shipped on time as usual.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a vid card up grade and aren't ready for a complete system upgrade to PCI-e then this is a great option, I went from an x800pro (400 bucks 1 year ago) to this and nearly twice the performance. Great card.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing GFX card

Pros: Great quality. Runs oblivion in ultra high quality. Path of neo looks great as well. My old ati x800 is blown out the water by this card. It would only run oblivion on high detail and path of neo couldnt go as high in detail. I would definitely recommend this card.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Card is huge. Barely got it in even after moving second hard drive. power connector is not on the top corner but more towards the middle of the card, almost hit the ide ribbon of hdd. All in all great card. Sticking with nividia from now on.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card! Like steroids for AGP systems!

Pros: AGP! This may be the last great card for your AGP system. Get it while you can. It totally breathed new life into my system. I was thinking about upgrading to a PCI-Express system but why bother paying all that money when this guy is all you need.

Plays Oblivion with good framerates with all eye candy maxed. I'm also only using the card at 4x AGP and all my games still run great.

Runs fairly cool for a 7800 series card which is nice.

Cons: AGP is a pro and con. Pro because you can use it in your older AGP system, but con because when you upgrade to a PCI-Express system this card is then useless. Although, you will be able to sell it online no problem.

This is hardly a con because most current cards have this issue, but it won't support any of the new Windows Vista/DirectX 10 features. Just something to think about.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a great card if you want to squeeze more out of your AGP system. A good holdover until Vista/DirectX 10 come out.

As always, don't bother with the drivers that come on the CD. Go to eVGA's site and download the latest. (Optional but recommended: Make sure your your BIOS is updated as well).
