5 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: decent graphics at a low cost

Cons: does not come close to even the 9800gt I replaced it with, but that's hardly a con

Other Thoughts: for the guy complaining about only 2 moniters being plugged into the same card, the ATI 5000 series is among the first cards to allow more then 2 monitors off of one card. it is also currently $400. Do your research people!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat 3d for the price

Pros: Easy to install; choice of DVI or VGA; rebate (received)

Cons: NO problems at all in 3d. However, I've experienced some
odd behavior in 2d, just navigating around the desktop.
I occasionally see an increased latency moving or
minimizing windows.
Not sure if it's a problem with the card, or some underlying
issue with my PC/Windows XP SP3... (Problems did not occur
with previous on-board video)
I may try re-seating the card to see if helps.

Other Thoughts: It's a great step up from the on-board video.
At last I can use my tuner card - no more stuttering!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: I have bought two of these cards one three months after the other. I have found that these cards are cheep and can handle light to medium gaming at a decent price.

Cons: the card is a little big but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Over all really good buy if your on a budget.

5 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: Good price, and for what i needed this for, it works great. Way better than the onboard video my mobo came with. Runs the simcity4 perfectly.

Cons: I don't like extra fans, its just one more fan to die. But I had a fanless card before and it ran too hot, so... I'll just keep a spare fan on hand just in case.

2 out of 5 eggsCard's great! Drivers -- Not so much.

Pros: Card runs everything I throw at it.

Cons: I keep getting a bloody nv4_disp.dll BSOD. I cleared ALL nVidia drivers from my system with Driver Remover Pro, and installed the latest ones from nVidia's site (All in safe mode, antivirus off), and I'm still getting the error. I'm debating returning it because of the hassle.

Other Thoughts: Great card, absolutely terrible drivers.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice upgrade

Pros: Great performance
Low cost

Cons: Install not very straight forward

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to upgrade the GeForce 7500LE that came with the system. My system made a horrible grinding noise that sounded like a lawn mower, and lo and behold it was the fan on the 7500LE, not the fan on either the proc or the ps like you would expect.

So I bought this card. It did not install anything like the directions said, but I got it to work anyway, and it makes a big difference. It is whisper quiet, and has significantly improved the performance of my system, which is an HP m8100y with 3GB RAM and an intel Q6600 proc.

The Windows Experience scores went from Gaming 2.8/Graphics 3.5 -to- Gaming 5.5/Graphics 5.9. This is a tangable and noticeable difference in almost every area of usage.
