3 out of 5 eggsWas good at first

Pros: Was great when i first got it, ran smooth and quiet. Could play games like skyrim and battlefield 3 in high settings.

Cons: After about a year the graphic card has become loud and noisy and is starting to fail.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Alexander G,

I am sorry to hear that you are having a problem. I can confirm that in this type of case it would be recommended to clean the fan with canned air to remove any excess dirt build up as this is the most common cause of a loud noise or a overheating product. Please let us know if you should continue to have a problem as we do offer a 3 year warranty on this product as well as 24 hour technical support at 1-888-881-3842 option 1 or by email at Newegg@evga.com.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggsRunning like a champ since 2011

Pros: I've had mine since Nov 2011! No issues at all during the last 3 years. Super reliable and quiet on idle. Stunning graphics and runs most games on high settings with no problem.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I run mine slightly OC on stock cooling. Gives about a 3 fps boost in games. Great card and great budget GPU from a great company like EVGA/Nvidia. Its lasted me almost 3 years now!

5 out of 5 eggsStill works great after 2 years

Pros: It still works for me even after I purchased my new GTX 760 back in September. I gave the GTX 550 ti to my brother and loves it. It still compatible with the newest games coming out.

Cons: None cons for two years now.

Other Thoughts: Recommended for basic computer uses and reliable gaming (Normal to High settings)

5 out of 5 eggsGood card, had for 3 years

Pros: * Easy to install drivers, fits perfectly in a mid ATX case
* Runs games smoothly - some games that are more graphic intensive may need lower settings to run smoothly
* Played CoD Ghosts and needed low settings to keep up a decent frame rate, but plays LoL like a boss.

Cons: * It is good but not great, I upgraded to a GeForce 760 and am not upset spending twice the amount of a 550ti card for it.

Other Thoughts: This card will run up to date games, but you will have to tweek the video settings to ensure you get a decent frame rate with some games.

Pros: Runs BF4 on Medium Graphics
Borderlands2 and Skyrim on Medium-High

5 out of 5 eggsMore Than You'd Think

Pros: Ran everything I threw at it on high settings for several months with no complaints. I eventually moved it to a different machine and upgraded to an EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW. While I noticed some textual improvement while gaming, I was surprised that there really wasn't a huge difference. Given the price gap, it definitely wasn't worth the upgrade for so marginal a shift.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Downloading EVGA Precision will let you adjust the fan speed to react to changes in interior temperature.
