Here's a video card for the gamer, engineer or artist with high standards. Using a Radeon X1950Pro processor clocked at 600 MHz with 12 pixel pipelines, 256 MB GDDR3 memory, you're not talking "slow display" here!
It has dual DVI connectors (with an adapter so they can be used on VGA-style monitors as well), a VIVO port, and an integrated TV encoder putting out HDTV, S-Video or Composite Video. Crossfire-ready (so make certain your power supply can handle it!), it features HDR (High Dynamic Range) for ever more realistic lighting and display effects. PCI Express support to keep up with that fast GPU, it's Vista ready and can display a resolution of 2560 x 1600.
The next generation of games and hi-res HDR applications is here already, so update to a card that knows how to talk to them.

SWEET CARD
- Pros: THIS IS A GREAT CARD , UPDGRADED FROM A 9800PRO TO A X850 TO THIS X1950PRO AND ITS BEEN THE BEST CARD I HAVE OWNED THIS BABY RUNS (BF2)FLAWLESS 0 LAGG ALL ON HIGH SETTINGS AND 1280x1024 RES. ALSO FEAR FULL GRAPHS SAME RES. FAR CRY, DOOM3,NFS CARBON ALL ON HIGH I REALLY RECCOMEND THIS CARD.
- Cons: THE POWER CONNECTOR IS HARD TO PLUG I HAD TO USE EXTREME FORCE TO PLUG IN THE POWER CONNECTOR I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA SNAP THE CARD BUT EIGHTHER WAY IF YOUR STRONGER THEN ME YOU WILL PUT IT IN WITH NO PROBLEM JAJA
- Other Thoughts: 512MB WOULD BE PERFECT,A BETTER POWER PLUG BESIDES ALL THAT GET ITTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy as (BEEP!)
- Pros: I did a heck of a lot of research before chosing this card, and I have no complaints. I can run most games with all the settings turned on. This card make Half Life 2 look sooo much better. I have no complaints, but please read below if you are thinking of buying this card. Scored 9000 on 3dmark 2005 BTW
- Cons: I have a 450w power supply and my computer shuts off while playing neverwinter nights 2 with full settings. Make sure you have a PSU greater than 450W. Also the card is really big make sure your case can fit it.
- Other Thoughts: system specs. A8N-Sli, AMD 3500+, 1gb ram, (This Card), coolermaster eXtreme Power 600W.
(upgrading processor to amd 4000+)

Great card
- Pros: Heckuva upgrade from an AIW 9600. Runs Oblivion beautifully on 'ultra high' settings, maybe 35-40 fps avg. Card is very quiet, even under load, and runs cool.
- Cons: Only comes with one VGA D-sub to HDMI adapter. Card is very long, but it did fit in Antec SLK-3000B case after moving a HD. When fan ramps up, it is the loudest thing in my case. I don't mind 'cause this is only during games, which, of course, make plenty of noise to cover it. Rebate is tricky, many steps, try power-color.com/club rather than the URL on the form.
- Other Thoughts: The 4-pin to PCIE power cable that came with did fit. It did come with a Crossfire cable. It silenced my X-Fi sound card until I shifted it to another PCI slot (IRQs on mobo/OS?). Don't believe the hype - it's working fine with my Seasonic SS-300W power supply that has 18A on the 12V rail. It draws about 66W max.
Very good card
- Pros: This card ran Oblivion at 1024x724 on medium settings, HDR on with no problem. CoH, high/ultra settings, no problem. Ran stable, no problems.
- Cons: NOT RESISTANT TO SON's COKES SPILLS. :D After 6 months (ordered December '06) it still has only dropped about ten in price. I decided to go with a 8600GTS which I will SLi later on.
- Other Thoughts: E6300 @ 2.1 GHz Biostar Tforce945P 2GB Viking DDR2667 X1950PRO
Great Deal
- Pros: Incredible card at the price. Its not a budget breaker and you get a lot. VIVO is nice feature to have in a high end card, no need to get extra video inputs. Scored a 4850 in 3Dmark06 demo version.
- Cons: So its a little big, but that can be planned for.
- Other Thoughts: First one came and worked in my new system, the next day it had jumbled graphics but RMA'd it and works fine now. Took 6 days for shipping the 2nd one, it was over a weekend though. Gotta be thankful for RMA, otherwise we'd be stuck with junk.
