- Pros: couldn't use it long enough to have a positive comment
- Cons: Slow SLOW screen re-fill and then caused screen to black out and locked up PC. Finally RMA'd it to newegg, but had same problem with replacement. Gave up and set it aside.
- Other Thoughts: Just occured to me today that I'd never recieved the rebate so went to the "JV Logic Power-Color Club" site to check on it and found my rebate was refused because I "...provided a wrong promotion # (not your rebate number) on your Mail-in-Rebate form. (*the correct promotion# is like this: 120107-NX1950PRO512MBDDR2 as indicated on the mail-in-rebate form )". Perhaps not Neweggs fault, but I am meticulous about filling in rebate info, and don't belive for a second that I made a silly mistake!
nice and cheap good card
- Pros: This card has the s video tv out put which is good (if you have a 7 pin s video cable). The dvi-i is nice to have to send video to a hdtv, and still have d-sub for older monitors. I've had no problems with this card. A little adjustment needs to be done to get it to work correctly with a hdtv, but works.
- Cons: Doesn't come with a 7 pin s video cable to hook anything up to it.
- Other Thoughts: running on a K8MM MSI board with a athlon 64 3300+ processor, 37" Philips HDTV and KDS 15" vga monitor, 1 gig ram, creative soundblaster live soundcard.
great for xp, not so in vista
- Pros: The card works great, especially for a budget agp card.
- Cons: The S-video port is a little loose, but still works. The card is great with Aero, but there are problems when using Aero on MS's WDM driver. I updated to the latest Catalyst driver, which the secondary monitor worked great, but Aero wouldn't initiate.
- Other Thoughts: Worth it if you're not a gamer.
