ALL U NEED
- Pros: Handles everything Very Well, even put out excellent image quality on a Large Dell 20" widescreen display that many cards won't display properly
Good Price
- Cons: No DVI for digital connection to a monitor(Which most monitors currently in use don't have)
Can't play games such as doom 3 on it But i don't think that surprises anyone.
- Other Thoughts: this card is perfect for just adding a video card to a system that uses intergrated video. to help take a strain off system resources.and for watching dvd's ect. this card deserves a 10, but for anyone that does any gaming besides solitare and things like that you might want to move 1 step up and get a card with 128 memory which would make a big difference in gaming for about xx dollars more but if you DON"T GAME you don't NEED anything more this cards display for normal use and dvd viewing is superb and wouldn't look any better with a three hundred dollar card
- Comments: in the previous review, i got the two mmodel numbers reversed, dont want to mislead buyers. thanks newegg
- Comments: i bought two of these, and the actual cards are different from each other despite having the same packaging. 1st one with the model #:LSFX5264APB, shown here, has better components(samsung memory, sanyo capacitors, etc.) 2nd one with the model #:VCFX5264APB has a heatsink-fan but worse components(vdata memory--slower, no-name capacitors) what the two cards have in commom is that they're both 64bit 64MB memory, not 128MB like pcbuilder316 said. having a 64bit bandwidth memory is very damaging in gaming. it's not newegg's fault for advertising 128bit because pny never mentioned this critical point. looks like manufacturers are trying to save costs by cutting corners every way they can.
