hmmm
- Pros: good price, handles most games quite well, some cool software with it
- Cons: Some games i do get a little lag from card when graphics are turned all the way up.
- Other Thoughts: if i was going to buy another graphics card i would put this card at or near the top of the list to get and its a bit cheaper now then when i got it
250/333MHz
- Pros: Nice heatsink. Cheap price.
- Cons: Memory clock speed is lower than the specification.
- Other Thoughts: The VGA card looks different from the picture. This new design has 4 memory chips on the front and back side of the card each, and looks smaller than the one in the picture. It has 5ns (400MHz DDR) memory chips, but the actual memory clock speed is 333MHz, which is not a big deal because FX5200 is a entry model, so I don't expect good 3D performance anyway. Nice DX9 VGA card for the price ($37 after rebate).
Good card
- Pros: Its a cheap budget card that gets the job done. On a low end system I have had for 7 years, p4 1.5 ghz, 512 ram, I can play cs source and dod:sorce with little lag, dod source I still get some.
- Cons: None for the price.
- Other Thoughts: Want a cheap card to hold you over for awhile, this is the one. I have had for about 1 1/2 years and it is real nice.
