5 out of 5 eggsThe best Geforce PCI out there.

Pros: The 6200 PCI is the best Geforce PCI card you'll find today. While PCI is a dying(dead?) brand of graphics card, big companies still like throwing a motherboard in with only PCI slots just to torment us. While this isn't a X1300 or a X1550 PCI card, it's still a good PCI card that won't make you upgrade your power supply. All 250 watt power supplies should run this. If you want a boost for your old computer, you should pick up one of these.

Cons: A 6200 AGP card was rated 2x as fast as this one. Of course, it was 128 BIT, too. This card is 64-bit.
It's not as strong as the Radeon PCI cards you can find.
In order to run .avi video files, you'll need the drivers of 84.21. These are outdated from the latest Nvidia drivers, but the best for this card.

Other Thoughts: I'm waiting for these to go back in stock so I can grab one myself! I can't wait. BFG, if you're reading this, please give me a date!

5 out of 5 eggs6200 pci definitely > ati 9200 pci

Pros: I have done the research and it paid off. This card performs well with games (HF 2 and CSS), videos, and general apps. It runs every game smoother than my ati 9200se pci, which i had even overclocked.

Cons: This is not really a con: 128mb. Memorywise, i did not go anywhere because ati 9200 was also 128mb. Difference between this and the 3times more expensive BFG 6200 OC pci, is higher resolutions.

Other Thoughts: For those who dont believe the other reviews, heed their advice and use the forceware 84.21 (windows certified) drivers. CSS runs at all full/on at 30-50fps 1024x768 resolution. You can get a solid 70 if you bump HDR, reflections, and resolution down a notch.

1 out of 5 eggsdid not work

Cons: didn't work. There was green lines in the screen.I tried ALL of the drivers that support it and still nothing. It would only get 15 FPS on low settings on 3dmark01.MY computer would just turn off when i would i ttried to load windows and my power supply would smell hot. Read other thoughts

Other Thoughts: It fried my new Antec PSU that is 500w.Now i hav e to get a a new PSU and use my old card.I also have to pay for shipping.Stay away from it.

5 out of 5 eggsWork just fine

Pros: Reasonable price, can output DVI, far superior than intel onboard, small fan noise.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I installed this card on Compaq SR1350NX. Used Nvidia Driver 84.21, thanks to other reviewers.

3 out of 5 eggsWindows Media Player 10 key for me

Pros: -The Geforce 6200 is on the list of Windows Vista Fully Supported Video Cards that are fully functional with Aero Glass (DWM).
- It's a low cost solution for people limited to PCI slots that want to be able to run Vista's Aero graphics.

Cons: I must have experienced every problem listed here, from artifacts (patterns of dots on the graphics, but not text portion, of my display), and very high or 100% CPU usage when attempting to stream videos in IE7, to trying many Nvidia Geforce drivers and not solving these issues, etc.

Other Thoughts: - My home built PC with a cheap 300 watt power supply always has artifact issues with this card so I gave up on it.
- My name brand PC with a quality 300 watt power supply worked fine unless I tried to stream videos then slowed down/locked up.
- Involved numerous failed attempts over several months, finally streaming video problem solved by upgrading to Windows Media Player 10 (allow it be the default player for all the files types it suggests).
- It shouldn't have been this hard.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card! For a while...

Pros: Great Card! I got great FPS in games and better resolution. This video card introduced me into the world of computers.

Cons: Started to go bad after a year of use. Computer kept crashing, videos couldn't be played.

Other Thoughts: This is a great video card if you don't have any PCI Express or AGP slots. Saves you a lot of money too.

5 out of 5 eggsThe little card that could

Pros: Salvation for those PCs that simply don't have an AGP or PCI Express slot. I installed this on my Fiancee's Dell, and now she can play Sid Meier's Pirates and Titan Quest. Gotta love a card that costs less than the game you want to play. Installation was a snap, and it's been working great from minute one.

Cons: It's a PCI video card. Don't expect 'extreme' performance from this bus regardless of what you plug into it.

Other Thoughts: If you're stuck with an intergrated graphics chip, plan on keeping your PC for a while and would like to game on it, you can't go wrong with this card.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Probably the BEST bang for your buck on ANY PCI video card. This card is faster and more advanced than the more expensive Radeon 9 Series and the GeForce FX serieson PCI. One of the BEST PCI video cards at a very low price. Can play CSS with 800x600 resolution, FULL MAX OUT SETTINGS + AA 4x. Could see a big improvement in all of my games. Yes, CAN play BF2.

Cons: There are known issues with this card such as missing pixels. Please use driver 84.21 as seen in other reviews if you want videos to work. Do NOT use includes drivers. 64-bit memory interface.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, just think about it, it outperforms all of the Radeon 9 series and FX series in the PCI line, yet it cost significantly lower than them. So why not go for it? Bottom Line : Buy this card and I assure you that you won't be disappointed. A good $40 well spent.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Good graphics for being PCI. I can play Warrock on high settings, Halo and Medium Settings, Oblivion on Low Settings, World of Warcraft on Medium, and GRAW on Low/Medium.

Cons: Will not play videos [excluding FLV] unless you use the 84.21 Nvidia Drivers. The fan started making weird sounds so I cut that off. It does not work well with Linux. X Window System fails with Ubuntu, Kubuntu, and I had to tweak it in order to get it to work with OpenSuse. I'm pretty sure its only for my configuration though, using an Intel Motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you are using the 84.21 Drivers if you want to watch videos. I cut off the fan and bought a seperate PCI fan for it.

5 out of 5 eggsPCI 4 EVER

Pros: This card is the best PCI card out to date I had a radeon 9250 upgraded to the Gforce6200 and I would say this card gave me hope when playing CSS Doom3 and others I can also play Prey medium settings with no lagg.

Cons: Its a PCI but gives hope to ppl like me with only PCI slots.

Other Thoughts: Great buy understand when you buy a PCI video card they will go in most setups unlike agp is already in the past. But if you want the best version of this card I would go for the BFG Gforce 6200 OC way better specs and card outperformes even this 1 256mb 128bit open gl 2.0 and will work with Vista.
