5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Awesome card at the time, ran just great for 4 years, and finally died on me.

Cons: BFG out of business, lifetime warranty was no longer valid.

Other Thoughts: Disappointed the company went under.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for 4 yrs

Pros: Fast. Very fast.

Cons: Expensive for the time, a little loud, runs hot.

Other Thoughts: Bought this in 2007 and it just died today. I got four solid years out of this card and I am satisfied with its performance in that time. I beat the heck out of this thing and it still woke up ready for work each and every day. This was a great product. I only hope my new nVidia card will give me four (or more) solid years.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this

Pros: There are no pros for this card since the drivers are so bad. If the drivers were fixed I'm sure the card would rock.

Cons: The drivers for this card are horrible. Please "do not" buy this video card. The drivers are just out of beta and are horrible. There are so many issues with these drivers it's unbelieveable.

Other Thoughts: Don't even bother.

5 out of 5 eggsResponding to too tight

Pros: It fits into my Stacker 810 with no probs

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Gonna wait till prices go down on CPU's,then purchase another 8800gtx and run it sli. With my 6700,it would be foolish to try and run two cards.

5 out of 5 eggsSatisfied, not blown away

Pros: For a single card, this does kick some. BFG hardware always delivers. This easily runs Company of Heroes, Neverwinter Nights 2 and Oblivion at 2560x1600 on high settings. Only Rainbow 6: Vegas runs into trouble at that high res, probably because of my "slow" FX-57 2.88 GHz CPU.

Cons: Only one thing: Drivers aren't really finished in all aspects, for example, the flat panel scaling is broken (e.g., you can't set it to "Fixed Aspect Ratio Scaling").

Other than that, expensive, enormous, needs two of those six-pin video power connectors... but do you really care?

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from two 256MB BFG 7800 GTX OCs in SLI. My 3DMark05 score only went from 12,800 to about 13,900 but that's the free version of 3DM05 locked at 1024x768. My gaming screen is a Dell 30" (3007WFP) and for *that* the 8800GTX really pulls ahead of the SLI 7800s. I'd say this card is a must have if you play at more than 1280x1024 resolution. "Because you're worth it" :)

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: Stunning graphics card. Most the games I've tested this thing on play at 1920x1200 at full settings across the board (sometimes higher through file editing). Also the HDR+AA is great. Runs at about 60-70*C (not too bad for a behemoth such as this)

Cons: Will heat up your case a little bit, make an effort to get some additional cooling if you think you'll need it. Also make sure you have enough room in your case. At 10.5 inches long by about an inch thick it will take up two slots on the motherboard and will probably exted further than your motherboard. Move any hard drives before hand to make sure it'll fit.

Other Thoughts: Top of the line consumer graphics card. Simply amazing quality for games and 3D rendering.

5 out of 5 eggsCrazy fast

Pros: Blazing fast and Crystal Clear picture

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: Does BFG cover the OEM version under their lifetime warranty? I really want a second one yet hate the price....

5 out of 5 eggsBlows my mind!

Pros: Where to start? On a 2.4ghz duo and this card I pulled 10461 in 3dmark2006. After I moved the processor to 3.15 and the card to 625mhz gpu 2050mhz memory I scored 12798 or about 1000 less then 2 8800 gtxs and a 2.93 xe. Very quite even at full fan speed.

Cons: Price still a bit high for sli, or even a single card but still worth it. Card is very long, hd cage would not fit(lian - li pc60plus II) if I added a second card, good thing that is removable. Loves power.

Other Thoughts: Test preformed on a e6600 at 2.4 and 3.15ghz (tested 3.375, posted, sometimes mad it into windows but never finshed 3dmark06) 2gb corsair 8500c5d evga 680i. Dont bother buying factory o/c boards I have had this stock card from 575mhz to 675mhz and memory from 1800mhz to 2100mhz)

5 out of 5 eggsSmokin'

Pros: Serious GPU power.
Overclocks nicely.
Amazingly quiet.
Ultra smooth graphics.
Uses all those extra power connectors :)
Vista Drivers (BETA) available

Cons: A little longer than the 8800 GTS card, so it might be a snug fit in some cases.

Other Thoughts: My card was obviously a RMA -- someone kept most of the 'goodies'. I guess it's a good thing I didn't buy it for the trash and trinkets.
