AMAZING!!!!
- Pros: This video card is amazing! I played half life 2 lost coast at 1920x1200 resolution with 16x antialiasing and 16x anisotropic filtering and still had 87 frame rates per second!!!
it is queiter then my previous bfg 7800gtx and can do 16x antiliasing with one card when before you could only do 8x unless you had sli. uses DirectX10 Buy this card!!!
- Cons: Very big card, took some work moving around cables and such so it would fit, otherwise none!
Great Card
- Pros: I got this card for my new gaming rig. It hasn't missed a beat. I run my games at 1920x1200, which is the highest resolution supported by my 24" flat panel. Every game I have tested thus far has run with all the effects turned to maximum at that resolution. My FPS don't drop below 50, and are usually at 60 or above.
Oblivion is by far the most demanding game I own. Again, with ALL the effects turned to maximum, I have seen Oblivion drop to 45 FPS occasionally. Usually it stays in the 50-60 range.
My case fans aren't the quietest, and they drown out any noise made by this card. I haven't specifically measured the temperature it runs at.
It IS a large card (I read this in other reviews before I bought it) but it fits very well in my Aspire X-Navigator case. There is about 2 inches of room before the card touches the hard drive cases.
- Cons: My only problem with this card was the driver installation. I inserted the installation CD, installed the drivers, and everything seemed to go fine. However, at the end of the installation, my display turned into just a bunch of vertical streaks. It was very odd looking. However, I rebooted the system, and afterwards everything seemed fine. It should be noted that I installed this card twice (I had to re-install Windows, I realized I installed XP-Home instead of XP-Pro) and this bug happened both times.
- Other Thoughts: Who would even THINK of running this in SLI mode? This card will out-perform 2 7950 cards in SLI mode. Maybe in 3 years you might pick up another one of these to run in SLI mode, but nowadays, there's nothing that needs that much graphics power.

Don't buy this
- Pros: There are no pros for this card since the drivers are so bad. If the drivers were fixed I'm sure the card would rock.
- Cons: The drivers for this card are horrible. Please "do not" buy this video card. The drivers are just out of beta and are horrible. There are so many issues with these drivers it's unbelieveable.
- Other Thoughts: Don't even bother.
Responding to too tight
- Pros: It fits into my Stacker 810 with no probs
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: Gonna wait till prices go down on CPU's,then purchase another 8800gtx and run it sli. With my 6700,it would be foolish to try and run two cards.
- Pros: I'm buying this card tomorrow. Can someone give me an idea of what size/type of case I can slip this in to?
- Cons: I've read the reviews...there are none
