BFG takes the performance of the GeForce 8800GTS GPU and kicks it up from 500MHz to 550MHz, then serves it up with a jazzed up shader clock. The advanced shader processors deliver a new level of physics effects rendered on the GPU. 320MB of GDDR3 memory can handle all the speed and power you can master, and then some. When that becomes insufficient, drop in another card and send your video processing power through the roof!
2 dual-link DVI-I ports let you connect 2 monitors, or a monitor and TV. If you haven’t jumped to flat panel monitors, or if they don’t have DVI ports, you’re still okay, since you get two DVI to VGA adapters. An S-Video port transmits HDTV/component video, as well as S-Video signals. The DVI ports are HDCP capable so you can watch HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs in full HD mode.
NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology combines high-definition video technology to deliver stunning picture clarity in all circumstances. On its own discrete programmable core, it provides a great picture and smooth movies with minimal CPU load. The advanced shader processors deliver a new level of physics effects rendered on the GPU. These combine to deliver stunning visual landscapes while allowing the CPU to focus on the game engine and AI. Unleash the beast! Heck, unleash TWO of them if you think you're strong enough!

Dont waste money on the 640's
- Pros: Factory overclocked so you know it's stable and don't have to worry about ruining your expensive graphics card.
- Cons: Price. These things are waaay too expensive, but what are you gonna do? You either shell out the cash or you dont play the newest games. It's that simple.
- Other Thoughts: Here's the truth: unless you own a huge monitor and game at a ridiculous resolution then 320 megabytes of is more than enough memory. It's not a matter of spending a few more bucks on the 640mb version because you're really only wasting your money. On a normal sized monitor (anything less than 24 inches) this card will shred any game you throw it. Vegas, Oblivion, 2142 are all no match for this unit. But if you absolutely must to waste your money, go for the 640 and achieve absolutely zero extra performance with it.
VERY FAST!!
- Pros: This card is fast, plays everything at max, i bought two of these, ran run in 3d mark06 scored 9042, ran them in sli and it jumped to 12342, my system is running core 2 duo e6300 OC'd to 3.06ghz, 1gb of OZC ram, and two of theses, plus the price is alot cheaper than 640mb version, and it performs just as good. must buy
- Cons: nothing at the moment, i think i need to add more ram,
- Other Thoughts: if anyone also sli's these cards, can you post your score, i think to improve mine i need more ram.

BFG - Nobody does Nvidia better!
- Pros: This thing rocks.. just upgraded my system to pci express. Had the 7800gs.. this card owns bioshock @ max settings... Oblivion @ max with 8x antialising.. wow!
- Cons: Big, Hot, Loud. Just like any good nvidia gpu should be!!
- Other Thoughts: Pay the extra $ for the BFG. they use better memory, and you cant beat the life time guarentee. Plus, they are almost always factory overclocked!
High-end performance - Mid-range price
- Pros: Smoking fast, reasonably quiet, IMO price to performance ratio is best available. Perfect card for my new build w/ Vista Ultimate.
- Cons: Love the shirt, but a game tossed into the bundle would have been better.
- Other Thoughts: 320MB provides sharp, flawless video in Vista and "World In Conflict". Unless you have a 26" monitor, the 640 is a waste of money.
Love the case stickers!
Power house like no other!
- Pros: Can any one say 70 FPS on BF 2142? Running on Vista? I know I can! This card eats anything you throw at it. It looks like a beast on the inside of the case. It’s the most powerful card I have ever owned, comparatively speaking. BFG really delivered. And obviously, it’s DX 10 compatible.
- Cons: It is very large, I won’t lie, but that adds to the general coolness. It’s also heavy. Of course, once you get it in your PC, that won’t matter.
- Other Thoughts: BFG 650i Ultra Motherboard
