Great card
- Pros: Came in perfect condition and ran great right out of the box. It can handle both Crysis games, Fear 2, Empire Total War, and Hellgate like their nothing.
- Cons: No real cons found yet.
- Other Thoughts: Wish they would build some of these cards facing up it would give better airflow and look cooler.
Very nice
- Pros: This card is great. It may be the same as the 9800, but the reduced size, and greater power efficiency is worth the little extra.
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: Included in a $500 system I built for a friend. Awesome machine:
Intel Pentium (Core2) E6300 (Item#:N82E16819116091)(Awesome, awesome cpu for price!). 3 GB DDR2 800Mhz. This card. And other accessories.
Runs the following: Aeon @ Max settings = 50-60 FPS in towns, 70-100 outside WoW @ Max settings(low shadows) = ~40 FPS in middle of Dalaran, solid 60 FPS outside (vsync limited)

Amazing.
- Pros: Card has simply amazed me since the first second I took it out of the box. Runs CSS, L4D, WoW...pretty much every game I could throw at it, and it just chewed it up and did it at very high frames :P
- Cons: None that I have noticed, sound might be an issue for some, but my computer is already noisy so it doesn't bother me.
- Other Thoughts: Card is definitely worth the price.
Fail Card and Return of Fail Card
- Pros: Pretty sticker?
BFG sent me a new card fairly quickly (that was even worse than the one I sent them).
- Cons: Card failed, instantly powering down my system in seven minutes while running any 3D game, from Quake 1 (yes, Quake ONE) to TF2.
RMA'd card with BFG (it's their card, it's their responsibility, or so I reasoned).
New card arrives, new card powers down my system in THREE minutes. That is not the direction things were supposed to go.
Card is going back to Newegg on Monday.
- Other Thoughts: First and last BFG card I will buy. I paid for a new video card on the first of October, it is now the 25th. This is NOT acceptable.
Tech support people were.... moderately helpful, but seemed annoyed to be on the phone at all.
BFG GTS 250 512MB
- Pros: Good quiet card right out of the box, the GPU fan is temperature controlled which is a plus coming from my 8800GT/GTS cards. I did get quite a boost of about 10-20fps in some games when coming off my 8800GTS, the construction is pretty nice, Blue PCB matches the blue of my Gigabyte motherboard. BFG Quality and support, easy to register for your lifetime warranty. Looks nice and runs nice and cold as well. Only 1 6pin PCI E connector is needed. Good for workstation tasks as well as gaming.
- Cons: - No DVI to HDMI Dongle
- No SLI bridge - No audio loop cable
At this price the cons aren't a big deal.
- Other Thoughts: This is the 512MB version of the card, I think you don't really need the extra 512MB of ram unless you're running a 1920X1200+ display. I'm running a 22" Acer 1680X1050 Display and I've had no issues.
