Not pleased
- Pros: This card came in as a replacement for a Geforce MX 200 chip, so it was a definate upgrade memory wise (64MB-256MB). Cheap.
- Cons: Tried playing WOW and got the same video lag I got from the old card. Framerates in the 250 area, not sure if this is typical, but its nto very high at all.
- Other Thoughts: Not for gamers.
Good Card
- Pros: Bought this card to put in a Shuttle Barebone system and it is a nice fit. Low heat, great resolution and for around fifty dollars it can't be beat.
- Cons: None yet
- Other Thoughts: A simple good card for lower end gaming and something that smokes onboard video cards. No complaints.
Huge oversight
- Pros: Runs nice, text is very clear in all resolutions. Great price.
- Cons: DVI is limited to 1280 X 1024! Now this could be a compadibility issue with the card and my 20" widescreen Samsung LCD, but it's definitely the fault of the card. The monitor's native resolution is 1680 X 1050. The card DVI is supposed to go up to 1600 X 1200, but when in DVI mode the highest selectable resolution is 1280 X 1024. I have to use this card in VGA mode...BUMMER! I would send it back, but now it's in my Dad's PC and he's too grumpy to exchange anything. I even did an override in the Nvidia utilities and set DVI res to 1680 X 1050 and it just made the screen smeared with colors.
- Other Thoughts: It was a toss up between this and the eVGA model..I chose this because the cooling fan looked better. Big mistake...go with the eVGA and I hope you have better luck.
