4 out of 5 eggsworks for me

Pros: Never had an issue with it. Installed with little work.

Cons: Nothing fancy, would not trust it to do anything extensive like gaming.

Other Thoughts: I have this in a workstation that I now use as a server. Only need to see the command line screen and sometimes the desktop of XP. I do surf the net from time to time with it.

3 out of 5 eggsSufficient

Pros: cheap, runs most programs without problems, DVI and TV-Out were nice

Cons: Not made for gaming! runs a bit hot after about an hour of use, whether its idle or under full load, the drivers are never really up to date

Other Thoughts: just don't try any of the games made within the last 3 years or it may freeze the sceen, cause artifacts and force you to restart the system. i rigged a fan to the heatsink and run Powerstrip to keep this thing cool whether its over or underclocked

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of Junk

Pros: None. This thing will not work with any decent motherboard. I wouldn't even work with my old AMD 700MHz board. After installing the included software or the supposedly updated software from the company website, my PC screen freezes when I scroll quickly. Stay away from cards using this Volari driver.

Cons: Nothing but cons.

Other Thoughts: The price was nice, but trust me, there's a reason it's so CHEAP. Don't waste your time or money.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Not manufactured by ATI or Nvidia
Ideal for irrational a$$hats who have a bone to pick with Nvidia or ATI and are not gamers.

Cons: none, except poor gaming performance, sub par DVD decoding quality, and poor driver support.

Other Thoughts: All comments are my opinion only. Please do not assign them additional status.

2 out of 5 eggsGood price, poor device driver

Pros: Good price (after rebate), I got this at ten bucks.
Work well under W2K system with driver 1.13.15 installed.
For this price I don't talk performance because no one buy this card will serious about games.

Cons: As another user pointed out I tried XGI and Chaintech latest driver both don't work under Win XP w/ SP2. System keep on saying the driver is for last generation OS then screw up the screen, or simply crashed.

Other Thoughts: I ordered the eVGA 6200 128Mb for replacement from NewEgg, best price around, only 30+ after rebate.
Someone in the review said Chaintech tech support will give you a (secret?) address to download a working driver if call. What do you think?
If so why they don't post it to their website, even in beta version?
A video card with driver not working with Win XP Pro SP2? Come on! I won't buy Chaintech again because this company don't stand behind their products.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job but no warranty

Pros: Plug and Play worked
DVI worked

Cons: No warranty, AFIK

Other Thoughts: Basic card. I only use it for basic 2D applications. Needed it for my new LCD panel. The DVI connection made the fonts much crisper. But letters are more spindly as a result, too, b/c they don't bleed into adjacent pixels anymore.
Another thing to watch out for. The settings interface for this card is saying my AGP speed is "0x", whatever that means. (I'm using a cheapo Soyo SY-K7VME motherboard, which might explain that.) But it doesn't matter to me since I don't use it for games.

1 out of 5 eggsWeak Card

Pros: No pros for this card.

Cons: Doesn't work with Ubuntu linux, choppy with any graphics on both of my Socket A machines running XP pro. Would not even run my Windows media player graphics when playing cd. Use V1.3 driver and XGI's V1.4 updated driver, still same problem.

Other Thoughts: Save a few bucks and buy something else, wasnt sure about Volaris,

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap DVI out, low profile

Cons: Had to completely disable hardware acceleration for my desktop apps to stop being choppy during normal use on a WinXP Pro machine. This issue occurred with both the latest XGI reference (1.14.02) and Chaintech (1.13.15) drivers.

Other Thoughts: Fortunately, all I wanted was DVI out for my file server, so disabling HW acceleration was not a big deal. If you plan to use it for anything else, steer clear.

4 out of 5 eggsOn par for the dough.....

Pros: S-Video and Composite Out, Pretty fast card for the money... I would say this is the best "Bang For Bucks" graphics card money can buy.

Cons: It ran a tad hot so I added a fan to the heatsync to cool it down some.

Other Thoughts: Good overall value for day to day use.... NOT for any serious 3D gaming!
