5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Easy install, temps are staying low
36C idle and around 50-55C load. Games like Halo, Unreal Tournament 2004, CoD2, and CSS all run great.

Cons: My card doesn't overclock too well but that's ok.

4 out of 5 eggsin addition to my previous review...

Pros: same as previous review

Cons: the stock HSF takes up two slots while it doesnt look like it from the picture, had to sacrifice one of my pci slots that i needed; the copper plate on the bottom of the HSF is actually screwed on to the aluminum HSF rather than soldered on, that's probably why the card runs so hot

5 out of 5 eggsgreat low-mid graphics option

Pros: good low-mid price option card for those using AGP, on a budget, but want to run newer games at least close to how they should be played. dx9 rev 3 support beats out similar ATI cards, drivers are straightforward, HL2 looks really good, though keep AA down. XFX design is fine, and the newer heatsink on mine hasn't had any problems. temp stays between mid 50s and low 60s.

Cons: nothing really at this price point.

Other Thoughts: i've had this card for a year and a half and everythings run well. it powers HL2, CS:Source, and WoW quite well @1680x1050. i'm upgrading shortly as i want to update my platform to pci-e, but the graphics performance is the motivator.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: VERY good quality components(samsung memory, sanyo capacitors...)

Cons: VERY loud fan(because it spins at full-speed)

Other Thoughts: loudest video card i've ever used, louder than my 6800gt! probably needed to cool the hot card(idles at 54 degress, that's with my arctic silver 5!) is there anyway to slow the fan down besides getting a different HSF??

5 out of 5 eggsNice upgrade!

Pros: I upgraded from a 9200se 128mb and the difference is freakin' crazy! I have a 3.06 Celeron D process with 512 mb ram and I went from 800+ on 3dmark03 to 7900+! The difference in Half-Life 2 is incredible. I haven't tested with any other game, but for HL2 and CounterStrike Source it runs great! Great value for the money...

Cons: Can't think of any. It's not the greatest card out there, but for the price you can't go wrong!

Other Thoughts: Haven't had any problems with cooling or the fan. The unit I got looks a little different (black mounting plate). So maybe the addressed the issues that people have complained about below.

5 out of 5 eggsgood but not great

Pros: p4 3.4ghz 478 at 3.9@1096 fsb with aftermarket vga cooler {on air} stable 605/1190

Cons: needs 256 bit memory and 8 more pixelpipes then it would be better then good

Other Thoughts: 22,000 on 3dm01se, 11,000+ 0n 3dm03, 4,000 3dm05, 67,000 on aquamark3, 146fps on counterstrike, will not play fear for the life of it. go for a 7800gs just to play fear.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Perofmse well even at high temps. performs like a 6600GT i gess. gets me 70FPS on HL2 with all at medium and AA 2 AF 2 and (other thing vsynk ( somthing along those lines) on

RUNS STABLE.
PC specs Athalon AMD 3400+ and 512 Ram

Cons: Runs somewhat warm. heatsink is not all that sturdy. poor machining. as mentioned before no thermal grease. but thing stays on my pc at 60C idle and nor maly at 75-6 C after playing games. also GPU threshold is at 145 C so its not anywhere close to getting over heated.

Other Thoughts: Good card if u have an extra heatsink go for the card.

this are my 2 Cents

4 out of 5 eggsPoor Heatsink = HIGH Temps

Pros: Good deal on this card.
Runs stable even at high temps.

Cons: Horrid HSF. The bottom of the Heatsink is machined poorly and has valleys that will catch a fingernail dragged across. I could have lapped it better with 60-80 grit sandpaper. No thermal grease.

Other Thoughts: Nevertheless, the card runs stable with stock components. I chose to Watercool with Swiftech Ultra Apex Kit/Danger Den Low profile Maze 4 Block. AS3 Grease. Load temps went from 85-95C to 43-46C
