3 out of 5 eggsXFX Suuport=Bad

Pros: The card ran great for 4 months, was very pleased with performance.

Cons: Started artifacting after 4 months. XFX support/RMA process has been a nightmare

Other Thoughts: My main complaint comes from having to deal with XFX support. While I hope nobody ever needs to send there card in please take this into consideration for purchase.

It took 2 weeks to be issued an RMA and they turned it into a hassle. In addition they have no online RMA tracking features.

Pros: Oder this late last night and recieved it today. Installed very easily and update drivers were easy to get and install. Checked it out running EverQuest II and maxed all the graphics and added fauna reaction. Not once did it hesitate. Absolutely no video lag.

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: Newegg was very quick get this product to me. Thanks

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: This graphics card is very nice. Played HL2, CS:S, DOD:S with nothing less then amazing results.

Cons: drivers for Windows Vista are still being tweaked for this card due to minor issues in some games, but if you disable Aero until they get better drivers everything will run perfectly. I use Vista and have the card working great.

Other Thoughts: Runs perfect in XP, and WILL run flawlessly in Vista as soon as they get the drivers sorted out (should be soon). No reason not to buy this card. Only thing that would beat it is a Dx10 card but those will cost you a few hundred $ more.

2 out of 5 eggs7900GT dual SLI crapped out on me

Pros: The cards worked great in SLI and by themselfs for the first month or two.

Cons: Until the graphic glitches and screen flickers started to occur. Nvidias latest drivers do no help the problem and when reinstalling the drivers on my CD it is only a temporary fix.

Other Thoughts: This is my second custom built computer. My first with ATI and I had no graphic driver issues. I am giving up on Nvidia and switching back to ATI.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice card but it runs HOT.

Pros: Runs everything I thrown at it very good so far. The Nvidia drivers have never given me a problem unlike ATI.

Cons: The thing runs HOT. My case fan went out and i did not realize it at first until I started getting artifacts in game, I checked my temps during a game of counterstrike and it was at 90c. VERY anemic factory cooling system. Now that I replaced my case fan with a much more powerful one it doesent go above 50c now.

Other Thoughts: Great card but make sure your case has good airflow because this thing can and will overheat on you if you dont.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Video Card

Pros: Plays anything at high, and is a reasonable price. Came with a free game. It also looks considerably better than other video cards.

Cons: No DX10 support, so you will have to update later if you want to use that.

Other Thoughts: System Specifications: Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi-AP, three Seagate Barracuda 320 GB SATA 3.0 gb/s hard drives, XFX GeForce 7900 GT, Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800, Cooler Master Praetorian case, Antec NeoHe 550 Watt power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsSWEEET CARD!!

Pros: Beautiful, smooth graphics with all settings on high. I upgraded from a GeForce 5200FX -- yeah, it's pretty much like night and day. Plus, it's SLI ready -- what could be wrong with that?

Cons: This sucker runs HOT -- about 62ºC on full load.

Other Thoughts: 3rd party cooling is a must.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice buy

Pros: Cheap, nice framerates, cool looking as well as good packaging, there isn't much more to ask for. I run it on a dual monitor setup (a total resolution of 2560x1024) and can run all games with ease. Source games like CS:S or HL2 can run with ease on one monitor, all while running other programs like Trillian and Ventrilo on the left.

Cons: Well, we'd all like everything to be cheaper right? :)

Other Thoughts: If you are looking into the video card market, and want the newest and greatest, don't buy this card. DirectX10 is on the horizon, and this card is maxed out at DirectX9. Wait a little while longer for a DX10 card.

5 out of 5 eggsSTEP UP TO A 7900GT

Pros: XFX offers a DOUBLE lifetime warranty. Their service Dept. is great (should you ever need them)

Cons: Not a 8800GTX

Other Thoughts: Stepped up from an XFX 7800GT to this card... WOW what a difference! I will buy only XFX from now on, GREAT SERVICE!!
