3 out of 5 eggsNot Bad For The Price

Comments: Bought this card for an existing 1.8G (1G RAM) XP system. We utilize this system for multimedia presentations at our church. Overall the card is decent for the price. The card was easy to install and impliment and the optionals were reasonably good in number.

The bad news is that the secondary connection (to the left as seen in the display picture) is limited in it's video functions. Anything over the basic MPG-2 format will not play on the secondary screen (even when set to theatre mode). Additionally the video management program is a bit bloated, tacking on rougly 20 seconds in the start up process. Overall this will not be a future purchase but could be a good economy dual video solution or desktop expansion if you don't have the need for movies.

5 out of 5 eggsMore than a year and it STILL feels like love...

Comments: Ive had one (7000 VE) for more than a year and with the sole reminder that it's absolutely critical to get the current Catalyst drivers from the ATI site and install them exactly according to the readme instructions (be sure and download HydraVision if you plan to use dual monitors) I am at least 100% satisfied with this card (almost double the current price when I bought my first one) and am about to get either another of the same or a 7500 VE.

3 out of 5 eggsMax of 1280 x 1024

Comments: This card was unable to run 1600 x 1200 on dual monitors. The primary monitor display was great, the second however horizontal lines that would flicker and jump around depending on what was happening on the primary monitor. Also, 60 Mhz refresh rate resulted in minimized the problem, but it never went away. This card runs 1280 x 1024 & lower great, so if that is where you're resolution will fall, this card should work out for you.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Hardware & Inexpensive

Comments: Hardware works great - 5 *. Software & instructions 2 *. Over all 4 *. I installed it on a AMD K6-3+ M/B, Win 98SE & installed the driver from CD. 1 monitor fine. Installed the ATI desktop from CD - would only boot in safe mode. Was able to get some work done by putting back in old video card. 4 days part time later, by clicking "Apply" in safe mode for Standard VGA 640x480 & installing new software downloaded from ATI works fine now on both monitors.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Card works great, prompt delivery from Newegg. Best part is that you can adjust the settings when you maximize an app, it only maximizes to the screen that it is on instead of across both screens.

5 out of 5 eggsgood card

Comments: I am not a game fan. So this card is far enough for me. The dual monitor and s-video works good. The only "problem" is the 2nd screen of 2nd monitor will wash out when s-video cable is plugged in. Not a big problem for me.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Comments: Just bought a bunch of these to add dual-monitor support to a bunch of workstations at the office. No hitch whatsoever installing them on XP machines, just plug them in, modify the display setting and instant multi-monitor functionality, it couldn't be easier.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Comments: Purchased this card because a Gforce 4 mx dual card kept having trouble. Installed this card without a hitch on a winXP machine.
Did not even have to install drivers. Works great in dual video mode on an old IBM 933MHz machine. RMA'd the Gforce card and will be ordering many of these! Thanks new egg for a great product at a great price. 5 stars easily!
