AGP is equal to PCI express

Great performance, but....
- Comments: Has great performance. Got mine to OC to 550 core and over 1150 memory thanks to the great cooling. However, after 2 months, the fan started to die on me. I did some research and found out that the fans used for this card (Arctic Cooling Silencers) are known for dying quickly. I RMA'ed the card and got a full refund, went out and got a 6800 GT instead.
For the price it's at right now, it's a great buy, considering you can reach x800 XT speeds easily. Unfortunately, you can't unloke the last 4 pipelines.
Overall, a very solid card. But beware the fan. 4 stars.
Flat out awesome
- Comments: I got this card to replace an overheating MSI 6600GT, and I am astonished at how much of a beast this card is. Chews games up and spits them out. This card Idles around 33C and max I have recorded (ATI Tool temp log) is 50C. Ambient temperature in my room gets over 80F; this is JUST what I needed.
Benchmarks... my 3000+ Winchester socket 939 is a bit of a bottleneck to this card. GFX scored 9,185 and my CPU only scored 8,984! CPU should always be faster than the video card to ensure best peak performance ;) But I'm broke.

3d03 - 9946 (proc is a bottleneck, w00t)

This is ALL stock!!! Get this card. It pwns. This card can break 10K in 3d03 with a proc faster than mine. I run HL2, Far Cry, Counter-Strike Source, Battlefield 2, and all of my other games at 1152x864 (my desktop resolution) at all settings maxed, with 4xAA and max AF. I even used the overrides in the control panel to force 4xAA Temporal and 16xAF. Ati Truform is also quite nifty!!!!
Install was a breeze. When I had an nVidia EVGA 6800 vanilla and an MSI 6600GT, I had many problems with refresh rates and slight monitor flickering. I got this card, and I can now do over 72Hz on my monitor again, my screen doesn't look like it has a slight little flicker to it, and everything runs so smooth. I love this card. I will never again go back to nVidia.
