4 out of 5 eggsNo complaints

Pros: Worked very well for the games I play, I couldnt always put the settings up all the way, but for WoW, AOE III, CoD2, etc It worked just fine.

Cons: Had some problems finding and getting drivers to work. Had -to pull the safe mode and driver install first trick.

Other Thoughts: Price has not dropped a lot in the past months...

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the price

Pros: Easy to install on pre-vista machines, runs fairly cool, good selection of screen modes, greta color rendition.

Cons: not state of the art speed-wise, but what do you want ofr less than $100?

Other Thoughts: this card extended the useful life of my aging compaq presario computer. it allows me to play MxO at decent resolution and without video-based lagging. it also is a great all around business graphics card and works well with powerpoint, autocad, the corel and adobe graphics suites. I could not be happier with this card.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for legacy system

Pros: Very high resolutions supported
Multiple monitor (2 via VGA)
Works with Win98SE & WinXP

Cons: Drivers on CD-ROM bad. Let WinXP use the one included with OS.

Other Thoughts: WinXP support out of box excellent (don't use the supplied drivers). For Win98SE use the latest from ATI (AMD).

System profile:
dual boot Win98SE (for legacy gaming!!) and WinXP.
FIC VA-503+ motherboard
AMD K6-2 @ 550MHz
512MBs RAM

Last possible upgrade for this legacy game system. Mostly used for playing DVDs, general web surfing, etc.
*Not a modern game system.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Complaints

Pros: Price, reliability, and performance; also, the quickness with which Newegg gets your stuff to you.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: No news is good news. After installing this card for a customer as a replacement for another brand of card, I have not heard a peep out of him.

5 out of 5 eggsFine card, a good deal

Pros: Extremely easy installation to XP Pro. Card was immediately recognized and Microsoft drivers were automatically installed.
With a DVI to VGA adapter I was able to set up dual monitor operation very quickly. I just clicked the box in Display Properties to extend the desktop onto the second adapter. The mouse cursor could then move across one display and onto the other. Neat.

Cons: This will not affect many people, but FWIW the default X package installation in OpenBSD 4.0 does not much like this card. I tried several configurations. While X runs, on exiting X there is always a fatal IO error. There is probably a magical xorg.conf file available somewhere that would solve the problem, but my interest timed out.

Other Thoughts: This card has no fan. When I ran a full-screen live TV image on one display and played a full-screen video on the other, the heatsink got quite hot to the touch, but it all kept working.
