5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Will play all of the games currently out. Easy to install.

Cons: On newer games, you can't max out the settings

Other Thoughts: This card is a very good card and it will play all games that are currently available. I have the 256MB version of this and I have no complaints. As stated above you can't turn newer games all the way up but, it will play them on lower settings. I can play BF2 on medium and it plays Half-Life 2 really well. If your the mainstream gamer, I'd highly recommend this card.

5 out of 5 eggsI have a question.....

Comments: I am very interested in thiscard but before i buy it i want to know if i can take the original fan off and put a 80MM fan on it, im not meaning in the old fan slot but is the heat sink wind enough to screw a 80MM fan onto it?

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I got a Rosewill 9600 basic (256MB) with a ATI Silencer 2, which did not fit RIGHT AWAY. After a friend sanded some chunks out of the heatsink fins to make room for some capacitors on the card, it fit, and now my cheap Rosewill card OC's really well. Got it from an original (core/mem) 325/400MHz to 425/518MHz after I bumped the AGP voltage from original 1.5v up to 1.6v. And I beleive I can go higher on the core. Mem is maxed out for sure though. I would feel confident in recommending this to other based on my experience with the RW9600 basic, and would think this card would give similiar results.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Good Card for its Worth

Comments: This is a nice card. Gives the speeds indicated, but haven't tried to overclock it since it's not being used on a heavy gaming computer. Runs NFSU2 without any display problems. Only problem I have with the card is it doesn't show up as 9600XT. It just says 9600 Series. *Shrug*

5 out of 5 eggsreally good card

Comments: I upgraded to this from a 64MB Geforce MX4000 and this thing just blew my mind, however I found that when running 3d applications it tends to heat up waaaay too much even without O/Cing, so just put my computer next to the cooler in the windo, wors great, and newegg got it here in 2 days

3 out of 5 eggs

Comments: This is a Nice overall video card .. But it doesnt overclock very well .i only got 510/660(Stock HSF and OCZ Ramsinks) . But you can Play the lastest games with this Card . not with the highest setting but with a good Resolution (1024X768).i got 4630 On 3dmark03 .

Pros. Very good price,Nice performance,quality Memory .
Cons. The Fan its Very loud !,Bad Heatsink, little OC .

Mi opinion...If you are on a Budget , and you arent a Hardcore Gamer. Buy these Card . But if you can Pay 30 Extra Bucks Go for the 9700Pro or The XFX 6600Gt it blows this card Away!.

By the way . neweegg Rocks!! i got this Card very Fast .

5 out of 5 eggsThis Card Rocks!

Comments: I overclocked mine to 520 core / 385 (770 DDR) Memory! 14688 3dmark01 & 4333 3dmark03 which are respectable scores. Temperatures never gets over 49C core / 38C system. Now to plug Newegg: I first ordered a 9600Pro advertized at 400/600. When I got it, I found that it was really 400/446. I wrote them an email and they imediately gave me a replacement RMA, no restocking fee, +$7 to cover shipping, with an appology! That is awsome service that you can't get from most online dealers. I am extremely happy with the whole experience.

5 out of 5 eggsOverclocks like mad

Comments: The most impressive thing about this card to me is how much it overclocks. I have the core running @ 570+ MHz, and the memory running at 380x2+ DDR MHz. Very smooth and stable for directx 8 games on my 2500+ @ 2100 GHz with 6x AA (max for this card)/16x Aniso with all quality and vsync options enabled. Directx 9 games play decently on this card as well. Although, it needs a beefier CPU. The only Directx 9 game I have is World of Warcraft, and it runs > 25 fps with all graphical options on and 2x AA/8x Aniso. Over 35-45 fps if run with AA and Aniso off. Over 14,000 on 3d Mark 2001Se with lowest settings.
