- Pros: Works in Vista, passive cooling so it's quiet. Cheap.
- Cons: None really. If you're a gamer you'll want something better, but for me this was all I wanted.
Better than Integrated Graphics
- Pros: Passive heatsink. Works great with nvidia drivers, acceptable performance for most low-end games.
Low power draw and of course AGP for those legacy systems that still use it.
- Cons: None that I can think of. This is not a gamers card. Its primarily for someone who wants quality business graphics.
- Other Thoughts: Its inexpensive.
Card works fine, after some effort
- Pros: Cheap, quiet, solved my need (2 video outputs to put 4 old LCD displays on an old P4 system to make a Quad head display in Windows 2000).
- Cons: (1) Albatron website did not let me download anything (driver updates). (2) Have not gotten 4 head system working under Mandriva 2007.1 Linux yet, (whereas 2 head using 2 old single output Nvidia cards previously worked fine with it). I think that is Linux driver/configuration problem, and I just have not really focused on it yet.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, I am pretty happy with this card. It took many hours to discover a problem that I believe is due to one of my LCDs. When I swapped which display was connected to the DVI connector, the card decided to work properly -and has worked OK ever since. I initially thought it was an Nvidia driver issue, related to the fact that I was trying this card, plus 2 other, much older cards, to drive a total of 4 15" LCDs. The 2 displays connected to the 6200 showed boot screen text properly, so I thought card and screens were fine. The other two cards worked after Windows booted all the way up. BUT, display connected to DVI connector would stop worked while windows started to boot. Since I had since good video on all displays, I never suspected that it might make a difference which was connected to the DVI port (through DVI-to-VGA adapter).
