5 out of 5 eggsPretty good card

Pros: This is the first PCIe-x16 I've owned, and I'm pretty happy with it. No problems during installation into a new system.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's surprisingly heavy.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Choice For The Money

Pros: While not the latest and greatest, this card boasts superb performance on very nearly every graphically intesive application I own, both games and professional apps. For the price, you can't beat it. Overclocks very nicely (mine is rock solid at 575/575 using ATItool)

Cons: Not the absolute best card money can buy, but if you feel like you NEED the absolute best, spend more...

Other Thoughts: Flawless performance and a great price means I would recommend this card over any of the latest midrange cards from the competition. (256 bit memory interface ALWAYS beats 128)

4 out of 5 eggsMmmm Beefy

Pros: Dead Silent. I have issues with noisy fans and RMA'd several before getting this, and It is so quiet i thought it wasnt working at all, but its down there spinning away :)
Included software is out of date, but you can update at ATI.com. Runs MMOs like a champ will all settings maxed, DOOM 3, FEAR, etc with zero problems.

Cons: uhh. I didnt buy this first?

Other Thoughts: Buy it. Love it. Don't waffle about it, this thing rocks.

3 out of 5 eggsRuns great...when it does run.

Pros: Great card for price, with plenty of options. Can run high end games at very high detail levels and maintain good fps.

Cons: Right off the bat the card would fully hard lock my system on some certain applications, and after a while some times on games. At first I thought it to be my Mother board, but now found it is the card. Is going in for RMA.

Other Thoughts: Allthough when this card opperates properly it does so satisfactory, i think I will sell the card so I can get a X1900XT card...Just so I can activate some of the few options that this card can't handle, and be ready for future games

5 out of 5 eggsNice for the price

Pros: Works fine, nice to overclock, currently running this one on X850 XT levels...

Cons: not many, but sometimes when running some movies or somethings, comes up with bluescreen, with that ativix.dll or something crashing... but otherwise its fine, just a software glitch...

Other Thoughts: doesn't have that external power for pci-e plug in... althought the manual says it does need it, it really doesn't

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card/ Nice Price!

Pros: I selected this card based on specs as reviews were few.
This card has been great so far. Installation was a snap: plug it into your PCIe slot and go (no power cable needed). I downloaded the latest drivers from ATI and everything is good.
I am using the card for light gaming--I like driving sims and can turn up the detail all the way. I have also tried the latest T Woods golf and the bundled Delta Force, all run at highest detail.
I have installed ATI tool but have not needed to overclock yet. I have had no overheating and the fan is super quiet.

Cons: Documentatation is very poor--suplied manual is generic and supplied software contains old drivers--got to the ATI website for this. Don't hesitate to buy an open box, you won't miss the docs.

5 out of 5 eggsGet It

Pros: QUIET, virtually silent. NOT connected to power supply!

2D color is the best, speed is super. 3D performance has been super for flight simulators, astromomy, and shooters such as Desert Force Extreme (included game).

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I was SURPRISED to learn that NEW EGG had NO techinical support for the products it sells. Those not experienced with opening up the box MUST take this into consideration if you don't waant to risk frustration. I called to ask whether a power supply connector cable is necessary (it is NOT) and was not helped, although i resolved the question without difficulty( i just seated the card and turned on the machime).

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Great Card, fast! Mine is running overclocked from 475MHz core 500MHz memory to 550MHZ core 537MHz memory. Look for ATI Tray Tools if you own any form of ATI Radeon, it has overclocking for ALL Radeon cards (from 7000 to X1950XTX)

Have not found a game where I have to turn down graphics because of the card.

Cons: For the first time in a long time, this card has given me motivation to upgrade my monitor to something that actually supports the higher resolutions it can push. My 3 year old Samsung is still working like a champ though...Better than some new monitors ;)

Other Thoughts: Oblivion lags hardcore, but I only have 512MB of RAM, so I KNOW that is the issue. I place no blame on this card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Amazing value for the $$$
Performs better than an X1800GTO/7800gt in some tests

Cons: No rebate card included... will be emailing Newegg...

Other Thoughts: To the person below me...
You probably have a problem w/ your ping/firewall/router/drivers/card.
With online games, your framerate is limited by your pingrate for the most case...
Ever play a full 64-Person BF2 game where everyone insists to be anti-tank? ;)

2 out of 5 eggsChoppy

Pros: Good Value....but read con

Cons: The only reason I bought this card is to play WoW. Makes the graphics nice, but there are some chopyness in places. I have done everything I could to fix the resolution, but nothing, even on lowest of the low settings.
