1 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Using the S-Video port the picture gets very bright and then goes back to normal and sometimes the picture warps.

Called up AverMedia and told me it's a hardware limitation. They said it doesn't happen using the coaxial port but you don't get the same quality as S-Video. I say it's a defect called a limitation. I wanted another card and the supervisor agreed but I never got a response two weeks later.

How come nobody ever saw this "hardware limitation"? Seriously

5 out of 5 eggsNice tuner

Comments: I was very pleased with this tuner card and really recomend it. Not a bad price and works perfectly. I use it for my dorm since I cant afford a tv I did the next best thing. The only bad thing was it took longer than I thought to get here. Other than that I was very satisfied.

5 out of 5 eggscompletely painless

Comments: This thing works perfectly with Windows Media Center. Install the drivers, reboot and run MCE setup and your in business. All tuner cards should be this good.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for MCE 2005

Comments: I have thin in my Media Center PC and it's been great. Easy install, great quality and very stable. Hardware encoding lets you watch recorded tv while you're recording, or record while your burning something else to DVD. Picture quality is so good, I would only upgrade if a good HD card comes out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat - and cheap!

Comments: This card is great. The picture through the tuner look awesome! Using Snapstream BeyondTV, it only uses like 2% of my cpu on my Athlon 2500+.

5 out of 5 eggsavermedia tv card

Comments: This card seems to be great in my new xpmedia editionsystem. I do not have it hooked into my main system as I plan to get tivo from DSS. I also have not got that running on the card just an antenna on the roof and thier included FM one. The driver set up was a little tricky but went smoothly The picture is just as good as my picture on my main living room system from the same antenna Shipping time was great!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video using S-video input

Comments: I feed the S-video and stereo audio from my cable box to the audio and svideo input on this M150 and I get much better video on the LCD panel than feeding the RF output from the cable box to the RF input on this M150. The video display on the LCD panel actually looks better than when I went directly from the Cable box to the LCD panel (which I did before I built my Media Center computer.)

This is a very nice card for windows XP MCE.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great with low CPU usage

Comments: At first this card crashed every time i would start to record a show, but a BIOS update fixed that problem. I run WINXP and get about 5 - 10% CPU usage when recording and not watching, about 30% while watching in BeyondTV. Great card with a nice decoder, very good deal.

5 out of 5 eggsTwo M150's work great with MCE 2005

Comments: I got another M150 and put TWO of them to work with the latest MCE 2005 (Symphony) in my computer. It is a lot of fun in MCE 2005 to time shifting one program and recording another program at the same time. It is truly a pleasure.

Video quality is really good. At this price, it is a steal compared to other products on the market with similar spec.

Highly recommended.
