Works fine, once....
- Pros: Does what it says it does. Inexpensive
- Cons: Not best picture quality
- Other Thoughts: I initally thought it didn't work - my output was all fuzzy. I tried KWorld's tech help, but it is a joke. After some thought, I adjusted the Screen Refresh rate down and it works like a charm. On your desktop -> Right Click Properities, Settings-> Advanced -> Monitor -> Screen Refresh Rate
It sort of doesn't work...
- Pros: Using the PS/2 or USB for power is nice touch. S-video output looked better than I expected (see cons below). Easy to set up (see cons below).
- Cons: This device does not like my Sony TV (model: KV-32S15). The video output is B&W. I changed the video standart between NTSC and NTSC-EIA with no luck. I tried another laptop as the source no luck. I move the whole set up to another TV and everything worked on my old RCA. I have already returned the original unit to Newegg - thinking something died in the unit - and they quickly turned around a second unit but no change. I have an email into Kworld support but no response - their support mechanism is rather poor, email only.
- Other Thoughts: The device looks like it has potential but falls short. Come on this is a Sony TV, not some non-name brand.
Decent for the price
- Pros: Easy to setup
- Cons: May be a bit too dark for the projector.
- Other Thoughts: I'm not sure if the photos on the laptop were too dark or if this device doesn't take the VGA to a projector well. I have seen better.
