Pros: Working flawlessly with HDs and will automatically attempt to boot an attached HD before normal boot drive that is installed on MB. A real bargain for $13.99 w/ free shipping.
Cons: Not booting from CD/DVD but recognizes optical drives after bootup.
Other Thoughts: MB is Asus M3A78-EM; OS is XP-64. After installing card, OS recognized new device and it updated driver from web. Rebooted, and works flawlessly. This controller uses the SII-680a chip and is recognized as a Silicon Image Controller.
