5 out of 5 eggsRunning great for 2 months on Vista RC1

Pros: Awesome w/ Vista RC1. Running clear & stable on Geforce 6150 + athlon 64 3000+ for 2 months. Low profile + PCIE interface is exactly what I needed. Vista media center is the best interface - don't bother with included software.

Cons: None - except poor software interface included - but again media center is the way to go.

Other Thoughts: Post below indicates problems w/ Vista RC2. I haven't installed RC2 yet, but suspect a configuration issue - I doubt MS removed support for devices between RC1 and RC2. I suggest those having problems in vista install the ATI drivers for WinXP for one of their theater 550 pro products - that should fix the problem. Note Powercolor isn't included on the AMD/ATI site "Add-in-Board Partner Products" - but it worked great for me.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent hardware/Lame software

Pros: 1-PCIe-x1
2-Excellent picture quality
3-Compatible with MCE 2005
(don't buy this card based on the software offered - buy it for the hardware and use MCE/MythTV/BeyondTV, etc...)

Cons: 1-Provided software...
2-You have to download drivers

Other Thoughts: I have had a PCI version of this card for 2 years now (with MCE 2005) and knew what to expect - this card perfoms exactly the same. As usual, Newegg rocks on availability/Pricing and shipping.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible product all around

Pros: It had a pretty color red?

Cons: Everything about it. The remote has NO programmable functions. It only works with the Cyberlink software that comes with the card. It doesn't work with other programs and IF it does it's limited to maybe the arrow buttons. The software that comes with it is buggy and 95% of it is a bunch of demo's you have to pay for. The card never worked from the start. The picture quality is not good. It's not even the slightest bit impressive.

Other Thoughts: I am ashamed that such a prestigous company like these guys wouldinclude such shotty software and release it for xx fricken dollars! Get a fricken clue Powercolor!

2 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: Very high build qaulity.

Cons: ATI does not support the PowerColor 550. That means thier Catalyst center does not work(which I don't care about) and more importantly, the ATI TV Tuner Control panel has no effect on the card.

Other Thoughts: This has the potentional to be a great card, but unfortuntely it means nothing if there isn't the proper software to support it. I don't understand how others got thiers to work. Mine works, but the pic is bad because the filters cannot be adjusted since there is no control panel to adjust them.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes not work with Vista RC2 and my 975 Chipset Motherboard

Pros: Good picture quality.
Good if you have limited PCI slots.

Cons: Does not work with Vista RC2 with my Asus P5W DH Intel 975 chipset motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I would have given it 5 stars if it worked with Vista and my 975 motherboard.

Pros: The card is ok

Cons: Power Cinema soft ware it comes with is worthless. To really describe it would required 4 letter words.

4 out of 5 eggsAs Good As Any Other Tuner Card

Pros: I have done a lot of video programming in the past three years. For testing, I have about six TV tuner cards. This card's picture quality is about as good as any other on the market. This is the only one I know of that lets you finally use a PCI-E slot for something. :) It also works in 4x and 8x PCI-E slots as well. This and other tuner cards based on the ATI Theater 550/650 chip set have drivers available for 64-bit Windows.

Cons: Ths bundled software is OK. It's not as nice as the ATI media center IMHO.

Other Thoughts: I use the full version of CyberLink Power Cinema for my TV and DVD watching instead of the freebie version included.

2 out of 5 eggscould have been cool

Pros: Pci-e x1...finally, a use for it! Ummm...but not for me. Other reviews looked good.

Cons: Does NOT work with Asus A8N32-SLI deluxe motherboard!!! The heat-pipes are in the way. Kinda sucks, I thought I finally found a good, inexpensive card. Not the cards fault though. Asus puts a PIPE right where the pci-e x1 slot is. DOI!

Other Thoughts: I wish someone would have written this review before, it would have been nice to know this. Then again, I could have looked at my mobo just to be sure.

1 out of 5 eggsOut $20.00

Pros: Never could get to work with new build Asus P5W DH deluxe MB, E6600 Conroe, & 7950GT Video.

Cons: Installed & never able to get good picture clarity on live or recorded tv. Tried GB-PVR software & same result. Supposedly compatible with NVIDIA Cards But I didn't have any luck. After 1 & 1/2 Days (about 12hrs) I rma'd back to Newegg & took a 10.50 restocking fee & 7.00 shipping hit to get rid of this nightmare

Other Thoughts: I don't know why I couldn't get it to work, apparently others did, but I noticed on PowerColor web site that others had same trouble with no resolution from PowerColor.
