Windows XP / XPMCE

Pros: None

Cons: The INF files both shipped and from the manufacturers site are invalid and will not install. Tested this on 2 XP and an XP-MCE system thinking the OS may have had a problem, which turned out not to be the case.
$50 paperweight - avoid this one.

Pros: Easy installation and works well up to 115200 baud.

Cons: If you actually need high speed operation (over 115200 baud) under windows 2000, XP, or 2003, then this is not the card. The drivers as written will not allow operation over 115200 baud! I contacted technical support from StarTech about this and did get a quick reply - however they stated this was windows limitation - which is simply not correct.
