Drives some monitors, but not all

Pros: Works to drive analog (CRT) monitors without any major issues.

Cons: Would not drive all of our LCD monitors... some just wouldn't illuminate.

Other Thoughts: I cannot find any explanation online as to why some LCD monitors just won't be driven by this product. We have a really old VGA Amplifier/splitter that will run some of the LCDs that this one won't run (with nothing else different), so why won't this one just take what is given and pass it through to any display?
