5 out of 5 eggsAwesome little unit

Pros: Good rated rails, solid performance, Twisted wires keeps them tight and clean and more air flow in your case. Again...love the rail amps. Better than the blinged out units with teh shiney.

Cons: I like adjustable rails, but few have them.

Other Thoughts: D/C doesn't make EMF waves...A/C does. Crosstalk on Power Supply leads is not a valid worry since they're all Direct Current (or you wouldn't put them in the case to begin with).

2 out of 5 eggsCool looking

Pros: DOA

Cons: Wires are twisted togather, which make it look really cool, but it's not good. It creates an electrical field around itself. Think of it like an electrical motor, just copper wires coiled around a magnet. Same thing.

Other Thoughts: A lot of wires, very nice looking, cheep, but it was DOA. I got a Rxxxxell instead, and it works great for my SLI setup.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good PSU

Pros: Very strong PSU, constant voltages. Hasn't crashed nor overheated. Fan is extremely quite.

Cons: Wires somewhat clutter but nothing a few zip ties can't fix.

Other Thoughts: Was recommended Tagan by a friend. So far he has had no problems with his PSU either. German quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Outstanding amperage on the 12 volt line. Great EMI cabling and quiet operation.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Has enough amperage to run any single PCI-E card currently available.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: I have owned this unit for just over a year (3/10/05) and this is a very quiet and solid PSU. Numbers are very consistent. Has more than enough cables.

Cons: About a month ago I started noticing that there was a faint clicking sound coming from the PSU. I took it apart and noticed that the rear fan was broken and was wobbling. It wasnt too easy but was able to replace it with another fan by switching the connectors.

Other Thoughts: Also, I run this system 24/7 so I think it was well worth the $$. If it were not for having to replace the fan, I would have gave it a 5

5 out of 5 eggsCorrecting my previous review

Pros: I am correcting my previous review. The rails are SOLID and very well on spec. Again, its quiet and of high quality.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I had previously thought that my 12v rail was under par at 11.84. However, I just measured with a multimeter, and the 12v rail measures 11.96(load) - 12.03(idle). That is plus/minus 1%, which is amazing. I definitely recommend this power supply.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Power Supply, But High Cost

Pros: SLi Certified = 2 PCI-e power connectors
Looks sweet

Cons: Low Wattage for the Cost

Other Thoughts: Its SLi Certified so it has 2 PCI-e power connectors meaning no playing with 2 molex cables into a converter into a pcie plug. But it is a little more than im accustomed to paying. You might want to look for one with more power if your going to make an sli pc.
