4 out of 5 eggsWorked great for 6 1/2 years!

Pros: Silent, stable, plenty of internal power connectors. Gets the job done!

Cons: Dead after 6.5 years of faithful service. Most of that time, it was powered on!

Other Thoughts: I bought this in 2006 to run in a file server that I built. About a year ago, I had to start holding the system power button longer and longer to get the power supply to turn on, but I kept using it. It finally kicked the bucket last weekend; it just "chatters" and doesn't power up.

It was a great power supply while it lasted. Knocking one egg off only because it didn't last at least 10 years.

5 out of 5 eggsWAAA, still running beastly

Pros: Still running, for mother in law, powering Core2duo and a 8800gt. Still silent, pretty much no issues in over 6 years now, props!!

Cons: none, if my brother hadnt bought me a newer powerupply, tehcnically this would still powering even my current system.

Other Thoughts: None, was one of the best electronic purchases ive ever bought. Has lasted longer than the vehicles i have owned, and it has been a non-stop gaming machine when i had it and likewise now my motherinlaw plays Sims 3 everyday. Much props to Antec, platinum(gold is too average) standard parts by far!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome PSU

Pros: Bought it 7 years ago for my second build and it's still going strong, very reliable, never had a problem with it. Now it's time to replace it for my new build, this is an awesome PSU.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I hope my new PSU is as good as this one.

5 out of 5 eggsLifespan

Pros: Survived much use and technological changes

Cons: Wasn't immortal

Other Thoughts: After 6 years of running basically 24/7, it finally died on me after the second street-wide power outage of the month. I think I certainly got my money's worth!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Was an absolute Beast, and I mean that in the best possible sense of the word. Lasted me 5+ years of continuous virtually uninterrupted power up. Went through several builds, but this was solid throughout.

Cons: Absolutely none other than it won't magically upgrade itself to a 700W unit :(

Other Thoughts: Finally time for an upgrade, but I had to pay this power supply my final respects here. Antec earned some solid brownie points with this unit.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable 24/7 Power

Pros: Been using for about 9 months in my server and not a single power problem. I only use Antec for my power supplies (as well as cases and fans) because they are so dependable.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsDied after 9 months

Pros: Price

In this unusual case for Antec, you get what you pay for. Antec Will RMA upto 3 years, but who wants a device with problems sent back to them.

Cons: I usually would only buy and recommend Antec, however, this product relly let me down. As many others have indicated this supply doesn't last, and actually has been discontinued.

Other Thoughts: Switching to Seasonic supplies.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lots and lots of cables mean that I can plug in a lot of things. There are a few cables that I don't use and may never use...but knowing I have them is piece-of-mind. The cables are long enough to reach all over my full tower case.

Not modular (this is a pro because I like performance) however it can make for a messy case if you don't have room to hide the extra cables.

Supports my dual video cards with the proper cables and enough power.

Runs fairly cool (temperature wise). It is also quiet.

Antec is a reliable brand that I will continue to turn to when I buy power supplies.

Cons: None that I can think of (but see "other thoughts").

Other Thoughts: I replaced my first one after about two months because it was suspected to be giving me problems (I replaced two components that were suspected to be giving me problems, one of them was problematic. Although I don't know which it was I no longer think that it was not this power supply. Newegg made it fast and easy to replace the unit, I merely had to pay for shipping to them.
