Reliable 24/7 Power
- Pros: Been using for about 9 months in my server and not a single power problem. I only use Antec for my power supplies (as well as cases and fans) because they are so dependable.
- Cons: None
Died after 9 months
- Pros: Price
In this unusual case for Antec, you get what you pay for. Antec Will RMA upto 3 years, but who wants a device with problems sent back to them.
- Cons: I usually would only buy and recommend Antec, however, this product relly let me down. As many others have indicated this supply doesn't last, and actually has been discontinued.
- Other Thoughts: Switching to Seasonic supplies.
- Pros: Lots and lots of cables mean that I can plug in a lot of things. There are a few cables that I don't use and may never use...but knowing I have them is piece-of-mind. The cables are long enough to reach all over my full tower case.
Not modular (this is a pro because I like performance) however it can make for a messy case if you don't have room to hide the extra cables.
Supports my dual video cards with the proper cables and enough power.
Runs fairly cool (temperature wise). It is also quiet.
Antec is a reliable brand that I will continue to turn to when I buy power supplies.
- Cons: None that I can think of (but see "other thoughts").
- Other Thoughts: I replaced my first one after about two months because it was suspected to be giving me problems (I replaced two components that were suspected to be giving me problems, one of them was problematic. Although I don't know which it was I no longer think that it was not this power supply. Newegg made it fast and easy to replace the unit, I merely had to pay for shipping to them.
