That comes from power efficiency and 2 PCIe connectors. There are also 6 SATA connectors, 6 Molex connectors and 2 FDD connectors. So you'll have plenty of connectors to handle whatever peripherals you want to install.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

Pros: Steady solid power supply that lasted me 5 years. Lasted through many hours of gaming.

Cons: Would power up briefly and shut down after at the end of its lifecycle.

Other Thoughts: Went with a Cooler Master 800W gold rated power supply to replace.

3 out of 5 eggsLoud PSU

Pros: Very stable; plenty of cables; cool color and nice big fan

Cons: After 3 years of owning this thing i just realized that its louder then my 5 fans and all my connected hardware, not a good PSU if you dont want your system to be too loud

Other Thoughts: Enough wattage to power Socket939 system with HD4870 VC, 3 rom drives, 3 HDDs, sound card, and 5 fans

5 out of 5 eggsniccceeee

Pros: nice colour, will be able to handle anything ill be able to throw at it for sometime, quiet, sturdy cord coverings

Cons: cords can be messy if you don't take your time, wouldn't bother trying to put this thing in a small case

Other Thoughts: awsome power supply, would recommend for anyone wanting to build cheap gaming comp, with room to expand later

5 out of 5 eggsNot an Antec, But VERY good!!!

Pros: I have had this PSU for about six months now, since I built my Dual-XFire 3870 Q6600 system and it WONT fail, my powerhouse of a system has been on day-in and day-out with no problems whatsover.

BE AWARE! It says it supports dual 7800's, but it can pull it's weight with two 9800's too!!!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: MSI P45 Neo-F
Intel Q6600 Quad Core 2.4Ghz
4GB Kingston Hyper-X 1066 (in DC)
MSI Radeon 3870 (x2)
FSP 600W PSU

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: I really like the PS's color! I was looking for a high wattage power supply but i didn't need 1000w so i chose this one. So far is has worked flawlessly and it has more than enough cables! I wouldn't use this in a small case but in a medium/large case it's fine. Its still a bit cramped in my case but i can work with the mess.

Cons: None!

5 out of 5 eggsThis is a beast

Pros: When they say this is quiet, they mean it. My case fans are louder than this unit, and when everything else is off in the room, I can't hear my computer. Tons of connectors, more than I'll probably ever use. Runs efficiently, and actually increased my processor performance over my old 350w.

Cons: As mentioned above, too much cable. With my smaller tower, it's a tight fit, but larger towers will handle this no problem.

Other Thoughts: Comes with tie backs for keeping the chords in order. Blue color is pretty cool.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Blue!

Pros: Seems of a much higher quality than the cheaper model. I needed much of the plugs and things work just as needed with no problems. All of the wrapped cables look good too!

Cons: Some of the PSU 4 pin prongs were bent, but still the overall quality of the product was very acceptable and I am happy. The cheaper model made a very funny smell before I RMA'd it, I hope this one doesn't do anything similar to that, but only time will tell.

Other Thoughts: A modular design would be nice, but I didn't want to pay more just to remove a power cables I didn't need.

5 out of 5 eggsDelivers as promised

Pros: Good solid power supply. Runs fairly quiet under load. Plenty of connectors for all your power needs.

Cons: Only thing that would be nice is some modular power cords to eliminate the tangle. This is available on their higher end units but I did not want to spend the extra money.

Other Thoughts: I started using FPS power supplies several years ago when I had an old power supply go bad. I have never been disappointed with their products.

2 out of 5 eggsNo problems for 2 years

Pros: Got the job done on a dual socket PCI-E motherboard.

Cons: Failed after a little over 2 years of use. Unfortunately the warrant period is only 2 years, so I can't get a replacement from FSP.
