Expected better
- Pros: Worked for about 6 months. Didn't really stress it too much.
- Cons: Other than it breaking after 6 months, nothing.
- Other Thoughts: One day, I was turning on the computer, and my whole case lit up with sparks from within this thing. Amazingly nothing else was broken inside the computer.
Good power supply
- Pros: Tiny. Fits in HP and probably Dell cases as well that use propitiatory size PSUs. The power supply in my old HP was like an ATX power supply cut in half. This is the only one that fits the case, it comes with an adapter plate to make it fit in a standard ATX case, which means it also fits in these "half size atx" propitiatory HP cases. Also, it is extremely silent. Inaudible unless you concentrate for a few seconds to find it's sound. Surprising because it has an 80x80x15mm fan which are usually extremely loud.
- Cons: Runs a little warm... but thats nit picking.
- Other Thoughts: I was worried about the reviews of it blowing up 5 months after owning it. But it was the only one that would fit my case. And guess what. It has been running 24/7 for more than 7 months now without a hitch. Maybe I got lucky.
Stay Away
- Pros: It's small and will fit into just about any computer case.
- Cons: It only lasted about 9 months. I walked away from my computer for a moment and when I got back there was the distinct smell of ozone and my computer was dead.
