Inside the stunning blue housing of the FX700-E PSU is a whole host of technically advanced features. The case does more than just look good -- the hexagonal mesh back grill maximizes airflow and minimizes fan noise due to air movement.

The advanced design of this PSU runs it at 85%+ efficiency. This lets it pour maximum power to the four +12V rails which are rated at 18A each. It is certified by NVIDIA as being SLI ready. So load up your system and mow down your enemies tonight.

In addition to the 20+4 pin Power connector there is a 4+4 pin EPS connector so you can use the system with almost any mobo. There are also 6 SATA connectors, 6 Molex connectors, 2 PCIe connectors and 2 FDD connectors. So you'll have plenty of connectors to handle whatever peripherals you want to install.

5 out of 5 eggsGet's the Job done

Pros: Quality Power Supply and good value for the money.

Cons: Cooling Fan is a little on the noisy side.

Other Thoughts: Used this to build an Intel high end system with Q6600 Quad processor OC to 3.6GHZ, Gigabyte X38-DS4 MB, 4 GB Transcend 1200mhz ram, 4X Seagate 32mb cache SATA drives. Machine is running at 1600mhz FSB and memory is running at 1200mhz. This thing delivers power to spare.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice PS

Pros: very quiet, long cables, nice sleeving. Well made PS

Cons: only two 6 pin cables

Other Thoughts: 2 stars because someone is to dumb to tell the difference between modular and non modular?

2 out of 5 eggsNot modular

Pros: Pretty blue.
Good solid power supply - clean and steady.
Lots of lines - especially for SATA and they are all nice and long.

Cons: The images make it look modular and it is not. Paying this much for a power supply I have to remove line from was not what I wanted.

Other Thoughts: The molex plugs have a handy knob on them to make them easier to unplug - kudos for that.

5 out of 5 eggsNew Brand for Me

Pros: Very Quite! Runs very cool!
Nice color and excellent cable layout.
The length of the cable is great to work in any case.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: All the PS that I had were Thermaltake (is a great brand).
But for me, this is a new brand and I decide to give it a try.

I will buy this PS again

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: Currently powering an OC'ed e6600, OC'ed 8800gtx, 4gb ram, 2 raptor 150's and eVGA 680i without any problems ... Don't have the proper equipment to test ripple so I don't know if it's a problem with this model like it is with the 600/700's but I haven't had any issues.

Cons: None to speak of

5 out of 5 eggsSo far sooooo good

Pros: 120mm fan, quiet. Will power whatever you need. Plenty of SATA pwr connectors (6). Plenty of connectors for whatever you need to power. Looks great. Terrific paint job and the wires are covered. SLI ready and 20-24 pin. started up just fine....time will tell and after a month I will post again. PSU's take time to prove themselves.

Cons: None really. Paid the extra $2.99 for fast processing and it took one day more than usual.

Other Thoughts: Box included 2 bags of screws and 2 stickers. Got an extra I guess. Also included 2 velcro straps to keep the inside looking neat and clean.

5 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for...

Pros: Can't say enough about this PSU. The visual aspect is awesome with it's color and cables. The cables itself are bundled very nicely and provide more than adequent plugs for add-on's.

Cons: Wasn't free!!!

Other Thoughts: The computer of the future is constantly being built and more systems require more power. You definitely go overboard with this version but it is definitely worth it. More than 50% of all computer related issues are because of the power, either under powered or not connected correctly. Save yourself that heartache and get this product. You will definitely not go wrong!
