Death in 3 days
- Pros: None
- Cons: I had it in my new rig for 3 days first two days worked great. I was playing a game on the third day then it just died.
- Other Thoughts: Cables messy go modular if possible
DOA
- Pros: Exactly what I need in a PSU. Enough power, enough switches, latest power standards, and good protection. Enough power and amps to support either 2 single-core video cards in SLI mode or one dual-core video card by itself. Those are the only reasons why I'm giving this PSU remotely even close to a 2 star rating.
- Cons: First shipment and second replacement were both DOA. I'm going to try one more time for a replacement only because I hear FSP power supplies are great when they're working properly. No modular cabling. Too many cables.
- Other Thoughts: If the next replacement comes DOA again, I'm going with a new PSU from a completely different company. I don't think that I'd ever buy a power supply from FSP ever again (even if FSP is one of the top PSU brand names out there).
