4 out of 5 eggsWorks as Expected

Pros: It works

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Nothing special. It was a bit to small for an old HP Pavilion 551n. It was secured by only 1 screw

5 out of 5 eggsVery good PS for LAB using

Pros: has +/- 5V, +/-12V, +3.3V, can be used in many experiments in LAB. Such as +/- Op-Amp, AD/DA with linear regulator and very cheap. I do not need that expensive AC-DC power supply such as Protek.

Cons: Nothing for this price.

2 out of 5 eggsGood but you get what you pay for...

Pros: It's definitely a good replacement ps for a mATX case or OEM fix'er-upper.
Cheap (even better if there was free shipping)

Cons: No SATA. Location of connector cable port. Cheap.

Other Thoughts: 1) If you buy this, make sure you measure correctly and add another 1"-1.5" to the depth of the ps for clearance. In my case the cables are now sandwiched between the DVD drive and the unit. I had to leave the drive sit out a 1/4" from the faceplate.
2) The power plug on back of unit is cheap. (Mine is broken now) It takes some extra effort to plug and unplug the power cord. It's a VERY tight fit and it eventually caused the plug to break loose after only a few rough unplugs. It seems like its not very secure behind the plate.
Since I let it sit too long before I used it no RMA for me. Going the manuf route. Unless Newegg reads this and hooks me up. Again...as they have done with other problem items. [Thank you!]

5 out of 5 eggsneat

Pros: Smaller than it looks in picture (microatx?)
just works
stays cool

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I think I might buy another one of these to convert into a desktop power station. it's a neat little psu with a small form factor and is cheap.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: It fit the small form factor that I was looking for and it worked really well right out of the box.

Cons: Mine was a little on the louder side. Not loud, but not as silent as it could be, but for the price - I'll take it!

4 out of 5 eggsSmall but efficient PS

Pros: It worked with a simple install. No problems.

Cons: It doesn't fit the cut out hole in our Compaq 5000US but I duck taped the extra cut out.

Other Thoughts: I should have taken exact measurements of the space and then looked for a more exact fit. I will next time.

3 out of 5 eggsNoisy fan

Pros: Inexpensive bolt-in replacement that might work well for HTPC provided a new fan was soldered in.

Cons: No SATA connectors. Noisy fan.
