toms hardware lies
- Comments: The toms hardware review is bogus because the didn't account for a hardware failure which might happen to any device.
toms hardware was once a well respected review site but recently has taken to only providing good reviews to Intel and other manufacturers that advertise or support the forum.
OCZ 600 specs false!!!
- Comments: http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/200507111/stresstest-15.html "OCZ Power Stream 600 - Not Suitable In Practice
Thursday, July 28, 2005: The power ratings for the OCZ can be safely ignored by the user because it does not even approach the promised maximum value. During our live stress test, the unit simply turned off at 588 watts power output. How it's supposed to achieve 700 watts (peak mode) even for a short period of time will remain the manufacturer's secret. Under these circumstances, it does not make much sense to publish the individual voltages on the leads or on the range of fluctuation. For a lavish price of over $250, the device is clearly too expensive."
