Why don't you read
- Pros: Good Brand name, I have had good luck with these power supplies.
- Cons: Having to sort through reviews of people who just don't get it.
- Other Thoughts: To "Zero Power" guy and anyone who read his review. A 8800 takes a SLi PSU and this isn't one, so if you hooked this up to one you should be happy it didn't brick your expensive video card, instead of giving this a low rating I suggest you read the minimum hardware requirements. I would also suggest you change your somewhat high understanding to "I don't read" or "somewhat not good with instructions" Really all that hardware and you tried to run a PSU with 15A on the 12V rails, get a grip.
Zero power
- Pros: None..?
- Cons: I bought this PSU to power up my Q6600 Quad, GeForce 8800, 4 Gigs Ram, 320 SATA HD, and a DVD Burner. With all this, the PSU wouldn't turn on my computer and would start shutting itself down in 3 second intervals.. Pretty frustrating. I'm guessing it had to be the PSU now that everything was perfectly well connected. Anyways, no refund so I guess I'm stuck having to buy a new one.
- Other Thoughts: I guess its just my bad luck, for I read that this PSU would load an 8800, but I guess it wont load an 8800 and a Intel Quad Core.
Great
- Pros: Works great. Never any power issues. I have had this unit for about 1.5 years and never had an issue. Plenty of connectors and cables length is great for large cases. All the cables are sleeved and heatshrinked which makes it look very neat. Powers my 3.8 cpu, nVidia 7800GTX 256mb, 3 sata hard drives, two dvd burners, liquid cooling system, and 3 120mm case fans just fine.
