A new storm is coming to your computer. FSP's Blue Storm PSU delivers 400W of power at over 70% efficiency. In keeping with the blue theme even the Molex connectors, cable mesh and fan are blue to make this a great addition to a custom case.
Once it's in the case that 120mm blue fan pulls air across the components keeping them cool. The mesh around the cables not only keeps them from getting tangled but also improves airflow in the case and makes management and routing easier. In addition to the 6 blue Molex connectors there are 2 SATA and 2 FDD connectors.

Quality Power Supply
- Pros: * Spot on voltages (only varies .03 at the most on all voltages).
* Reasonably Quiet
* Excellent connectors. Doesn't come with a 24-20 pin converter like the pictures suggest. Instead it comes with a 20 pin connector built in and it slides together with the other 4 pin connector to make a 24 pin. Very very cool!
* Wrapped wires are very nice.
* Very heavy and clean inside.
- Cons: Only complaint I have (and this won't apply to everyone)... is the clip on the 20 pin converter is wider than the standard clips (the one that latches onto the mobo 20 pin female connector). This caused a problem for me since a capacitor was right next to it on my mobo. I ended up having to trim half of the latch off on the male 20 pin on the powersupply. No biggy and no harm... still clips on. Just verify you have enough room for a (estimate) 6mm latch to go over the notch on the connector.
- Other Thoughts: So far so good. Seems to be spot on, on all the voltages. I couldn't be happier with it running my AMD Athlon XP Mobile 2600+ at 2.6ghz, and a 120mm fan, 2 dvd burners, an Nvidia 6800, and a 7200rpm sata drive. I'm pretty confident that this will be the company I go to for power supplies from now on.
Fantastic, reliable PSU
- Pros: We've bought over 30 of these so far for our 2-man IT shop for new builds and general-purpose replacement. The units have a satisfying heft missing from most budget PSUs, and they just work. The gripped Molex connectors are a nice touch as well, it makes system building and upgrading more pleasant. For the money, I can't really fault this unit at all.
- Cons: No active Power Factor Correction, so it isn't as efficient as some more expensive units. But for only $50, it's still a good buy.
- Other Thoughts: We've standardized on these units for basic builds, and Seasonic M12's for higher-end PC's and entry-level servers with no regrets. And of course you cannot beat NewEgg's prompt shipping and excellent service, we keep coming back!

Works for me
- Pros: Works. Quiet. Runs Cool. Wrapped Cables.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I bought this because it was cheap. I bought the second one because it was quiet, stays cools and has the cables bound. A few more SATA power connections would have been nice.
Great power supply
- Pros: Completely stable voltage on all rails
- Cons: No PFC
- Pros: This product is impressive for the price.
Build quality feels good. Heavy well constructed sturdy feel. Steady power flow. Just a simple inexpensive great working power supply.
- Cons: None / At this price it has all it needs. If you want more move to a higher cost power supply.
