Not supposed to convert USB to Firewire
- Pros: Works very well both AC and bus powered. Good transfer speeds. Works well with Windows, Linux and OS X.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: An excellent product overall.
To clarify, this product will not convert Firewire to USB. It is not designed to. It is two hubs in one. You need to have one USB and one Firewire connection from the hub to your computer to use both types. If you don't have Firewire on your computer you can't connect a Firewire device.
USB/Firewire
- Pros: When I received it, just plugged it in and it worked without any problems.
- Cons: When I received that product, it was shipped in the plastic bag and then I opened it and the package was completly trashed, package was opened from both side so I don't know what happened if newegg was doing something with it or sombody else...

UnAble to work
- Pros: cool idea
- Cons: Unfortunatly, I wanted to see this product for myself. Just as i suspected the unit only has a uplink to your computer of USB 2.0. If you didn't already know USB 2.0 cannot support Firewire. This just simply doesn't work.
Yaaaaaa Baby
- Pros: It was easy to setup no problems after having it for awhile i would recommend this product. Oh ya the price is great for what your getting
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: Newegg is great happy about the service.
